In Evidence, as ambious
journalists, you go in search
of evidence to prove the existence
of some of the worlds greatest mysteries.
You’ve been searching for a long me and now youre
prey sure that mysterious creatures from lore really exist!
However, in order to convince the editor-in-chief and make it to the
front page with your story, you will need some solid evidence. Youll
have to keep searching and following even the smallest rumours unl
the signs get hot. But me is of the essence because your competors
have become aware of the story...

Rumours and Evidence
There are 6 dierent creatures who are said to be found in dierent
locaons around the world – referred to as mysteries. For each
mystery, there are 6 rumours and each is assigned a unique colour and
symbol.
The rumours have dierent values ranging from -1 to 4. The higher
the value of a rumour, the higher the probability that the mystery
truly exists. The exact distribuon can be found in the corresponding
overview cards (see below).
Only one of these cards is the actual proof of the respecve mystery
- you must nd out its value throughout the course of the game. This
evidence is hidden under the overview cards and its value is unknown
to you at the beginning of the game. All other cards are rumours.
Rumours show which value the matching colours evidence does not
have. You hold these rumours in your hands and play them round by
round, revealing informaon to everyone.

Search Cards and Newspaper Articles
There are 42 search cards,
each with a newspaper arcle
on the back (7 per mystery).
Among them is also one Hot
Lead per mystery.
Throughout the course of the game, you will take search cards by
performing the Search” acon. These represent your ndings on the
various mysteries. At the end of the game you ip the cards to the
reverse side showing the newspaper arcle. These are the arcles
you have published in relaon to each mystery, and their number
determines, among other things, your score at the end of the game.
A Hot Lead, for example, will give you an extra point if you own it.
Time-Outs and Professional Tools
6 me-outs for the basic game (front side)
Time-outs allow you to exchange previously collected search cards in one
mystery for another. These cards grant you the opportunity to blu or alter
wrong decisions.
6 professional tools for a more strategic game (reverse side)
Professional tools introduce 6 unique acons into the game.
