INSTRUCTIONS
This flat iron is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only.
This unit is designed to be operated at
120 volts AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to defeat this safety feature.
NOTE: Do not use this styling appliance on
hair extensions.
STYLING WITH THE NEW EASY-GLIDE,

Both plates of your new flat iron are designed
with a little give, to “float” in the iron. This
provides better contact with hair and
eliminates gaps to achieve straighter results
faster. The shea butter-infused, easy-glide,
ceramic-coated surface is one of the latest
and best technological advances in hair
appliances. The ceramic, even-heat
distribution produces the ultimate in silky,
shiny, healthy-looking hair. You’ll find that hair
glides easily over the surface of the plates as
you’re straightening, and that it is easier to
clean styling product residue, etc., off the
plates after each use. The ceramic surface
also helps smooth down flyaways.
As you smooth your hair, heat is evenly
distributed so that the style you create has a
salon-perfect, silky smooth, shiny finish. Hair
also glides right through the plates after it’s
straightened.

Your new flat iron is designed with shea
butter-infused ceramic plates, which help
protect hair, minimize damage and add shine
with each pass.
GETTING STARTED
Plug the flat iron cord into any household
outlet (120V). Press the ON/OFF button. The
power light will illuminate. Press the "+" and
"-" buttons to selected your desired heat
setting. To turn off, press the ON/OFF button.
WARNING: The flat iron’s shea butter-
infused, ceramic-coated plates will get
very hot within a few seconds and should
not come into contact with the skin after
the flat iron has been turned on.
Never leave your flat iron on and
unattended. However, should you fail
to turn the unit off, it will shut itself off
automatically within 60 minutes.

TO STRAIGHTEN HAIR
Hair should be clean and completely dry
before using the flat iron. For best results,
use a light styling product before blow-drying
hair.
1. Start with a hair section that is 1½ inches
wide and no more than ½ inch thick.
2. Open the iron and place the hair section
between the two hot plates, close to the
scalp. Trap hair between the plates by
firmly squeezing the handles together.
3. While maintaining the tension, slowly pull
the unit down along the hair section toward
the ends. At the ends, release the pressure
on the handle and allow the hair to slide out.
4. Repeat the process on additional sections
of hair until you achieve the hairstyle you
desire. It may be necessary to repeat the
process on certain areas, depending on the
texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learning
to use this flat iron. After using the iron
several times, you will learn the ideal way
to straighten and style your hair.
ADD VOLUME AND SHAPE
To add flips and waves, secure ends in
between plates and wrap hair around the
outer housing. It’s an easy way to add shape
to straight styles. Turn your wrist up or under
to create flips, add curl or more body.

No lubrication is needed. Keep all vents and

PLACAS CON INFUSIÓN DE
MANTECA DE KARITÉ
Las placas de su nueva plancha alisadora
cuentan con revestimiento de cerámica con
infusión manteca de karité para ayudar a
proteger el cabello, minimizar los daños y
dar brillo con cada pasada.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Enchufe el aparato en una toma de corriente
de 120V. Oprima el botón ON/OFF; la
luz de encendido se encenderá. Presione
repetidamente los botones “+” y “–” para
elegir el ajuste de temperatura deseado. Para
apagar el aparato, presione el botón ON/OFF.
ADVERTENCIA: Las placas con
revestimiento de cerámica con infusión de
manteca de karité se ponen muy calientes
en segundos; evite el contacto con la piel
después de encender el aparato.
Nunca descuide/deje el aparato sin
vigilancia después de encenderlo. Para

PARA ALISAR EL CABELLO
El cabello debe estar limpio y seco. Para
obtener resultados óptimos, aplique una
loción fijadora ligera en el cabello antes
de secarlo.
1.. Divida el cabello en secciones de 1½ i
(4cm) de ancho por un máximo de ½ in.
(1.5cm) grueso.
2.. Coloque el aparato cerca del cue
cabelludo. Abra las placas y coloque una
sección de cabello entre ellas. Cierre
las placas.
3.. Manteniendo la tensión, baje lentamen
la plancha hacia las puntas. Suelte el cabello
tras llegar a las puntas.
4.. Repita el proceso en cada sección
cabello, hasta conseguir el estilo deseado.
Dependiendo de la textura del cabello, puede
que sea necesario repetir el proceso varias
veces en algunas secciones.
Nota: Será necesario experimentar un poco al
principio. Con práctica, encontrará la manera
perfecta para alisar y peinar su cabello fácil
y rápidamente.
CÓMO DAR VOLUMEN
Para doblar las puntas y crear ondas, agarre
las puntas del cabello entre las extremidades
de las placas y enrolle en cabello alrededor
de las placas cerradas. Es una manera fácil
de dar volumen a cualquier peinado liso. Gire
la muñeca hacia arriba o abajo para doblar
las puntas hacia fuera/dentro, rizar o
dar cuerpo.

Este aparato requiere poco mantenimiento.
No necesita lubricación. Mantenga todos

PRECAUCIÓN
NUNCA jale, retuerza ni doble mucho el
cable. Nunca lo enrolle con fuerza alrededor
del aparato; esto puede dañar la junta flexible
que lo conecta al aparato, produciendo
su rotura o un cortocircuito. Revise el
cable con frecuencia para comprobar que
no está dañado. Deje de usar el aparato
inmediatamente si el cable está visiblemente
dañado o si el aparato deja de funcionar, o
funciona de manera intermitente.
ALMACENAMIENTO
Cuando no lo usa, su aparato es fácil de
almacenar. Permita que se enfríe y guárdelo
en un lugar seco y seguro, fuera del alcance
de los niños. No tironee ni retuerza el cable
al nivel del enchufe. No enrolle el cable
alrededor del aparato. Permita que el cable
cuelgue, o que la junta que lo conecta al
aparato esté suelta y recta.

de California solo necesitan dar una prueba
de compra y deben llamar al 1-800-3-CONAIR
para recibir instrucciones de envío. En
ausencia del recibo de compra, el período
de garantía será de 60 meses a partir de la
fecha de fabricación.
