Important Safeguards
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
1. Always ensure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your

the appliance from the mains. Unplug the unit when not in use or before cleaning

13. This appliance is not suitable for outdoor use. Do not use the appli ance for anything other
than its intended use.
14. Do not carry the appliance by the power cord.
15. Do not leave the appliance unattended during use.
16. Always operate the appliance on a smooth, even, stable surface. Do not place the unit on a
hot surface.
17. The manufacture does not accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused by improper
or incorrect use, or for repairs carried out by unauthorised personnel.
18. In case of technical problems, switch off the product and do not attempt to repair it yourself.
Return the appliance to an authorised service facility for examination, adjustment or repair.
Always insist on the use of original spare parts. Failure to comply with the above mentions
precautions and instructions, could affect the safe operation of this product.
19. Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of separate
remote control system
20. Do not touch the cutting blade and do not insert any kind of object (knives, forks,
spoons etc.) while the product is operating. A spatula may be used only when the prod
uct is not in operation, avoiding the risk of serious injury.

Parts & Assembly
ASSEMBLY
Your Food Slicer will require assembly prior to use. It is important that you read the
entire manual to become familiar with the unit before you set up the Food Slicer. Before
assembling your Food Slicer, be sure that you have all parts described in the Parts List
above. During Assembly, it will be helpful to refer to the Assembly Diagram.
TheFoodSlicermustbecleaned,beforetherstuseandafterallsubsequentuses.
Before assembling your Food Slicer, check for damaged parts.
Unfold the Platform (9) from the Main Body (5); please insert the interlock (6) into the
slot of Platform (9) in accordance with the instruction after opening the Platform (9).
SlidetheFoodPusher(8)ontotheFoodTray(3).ThearmoftheFoodPusherts
over the fence on the Food Tray-see Figure 1. The Food Tray with the attached Food
Pusher (8) slides into the slot on the Platform (9).
PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL AROUND THE BLADE ASSEMBLY. IT IS VERY SHARP.
