IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your Kenmore Outdoor Electric Pizza Oven, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
2. This pizza oven is suited for outdoor use and is intended to be used in household appli-
cations only. Do not attempt to operate the pizza oven by any method other than as
described in this manual. Using this appliance for anything other than its intended use will
void your warranty.
3. Before using the appliance for the rst time, remove any packaging material, promo-
tional labels, and stickers. Safely dispose of plastic bags or small pieces that could present
a suocation or choking hazard to young children.
4. Check that the voltage of the wall outlet corresponds to the one shown on the rating
plate. Do not attempt to use the appliance with a voltage converter. To prevent overload-
ing the electrical circuit, operate the pizza oven on a separate circuit from other applianc-
es.
5. POLARIZED PLUG: This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
t, contact a qualied electrician. DO NOT attempt to alter the plug in any way to make it
t.
6. Do not attempt to operate the appliance if there is damage to the cord or plug, after it
has malfunctioned or been dropped or damaged in any way, or if it is not operating
properly. Take the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination and
adjustment or repair.
7. IMPORTANT: To ensure proper cooling of the oven and electronics after use, leave the
unit plugged in until the fans shut o.
8. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or storing. To unplug, grasp the plug and
pull it from the electrical outlet. Never unplug the appliance by pulling on the power cord.
9. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the pizza oven body, control panel,
power cord, or electrical plug in any liquid. If the appliance falls into or accidentally
becomes immersed in water, immediately unplug it from the wall outlet. DO NOT REACH
INTO THE WATER.
10. When deciding where to set up your pizza oven, observe the following safeguards:
a. Place the oven on a stable, at, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area;
b. Do not use near the edge of a counter or table or near a hot surface such as a stovetop;
c. Never let the cord touch hot surfaces or hang over the edge of a table or counter where
it could be pulled on by children or tripped over.
11. THIS IS AN ATTENDED APPLIANCE. Do not leave unattended during use.
12. WARNING: This appliance achieves extremely high cooking temperatures and the
outer surfaces may get hot during use. To reduce the risk of injury, re, overheating,
malfunction, or warping, or discoloration, observe the following precautions during
operation:
a. Always ensure sucient distance between the appliance and any ammable materials;
b. Do not store any items on top of the appliance or allow it to contact easily ammable
materials such as draperies, wall coverings, clothing, or dish towels;
c. Do not allow the appliance to come into contact with other heat sensitive surfaces.
13. DO NOT TOUCH hot surfaces. Use the handles or knobs when operating the appliance.
Always protect your hands with non-slip oven mitts or similar. Use extreme caution when
removing food or accessories from the appliance.
14. To prevent damage to the door or viewing window, do not rest anything on the open
door and do not allow cold food items to contact the inside of the door.
15. When using the pizza stone, always preheat the oven with the stone in place. Do not
wash or wet the surface of the pizza stone before using.
16. Regularly clean the pizza oven and accessories using the cleaning instructions in this
manual. Do not use oven cleaners, abrasive cleansers or scouring pads that could scratch
the ovens surface. Do not use metal scouring pads as pieces could break o and touch
electrical parts, causing electric shock.
17. This appliance is not intended for use by persons, including children, with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, without
supervision and instruction by a person responsible for their safety. Close supervision is
necessary when any appliance is used by or near children to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
18. If this appliance starts to malfunction during use, press the ON/OFF button and unplug
it from the wall outlet. Do not use or attempt to repair a malfunctioning appliance. For any
maintenance other than cleaning, contact Koolatron Customer Assistance.
This symbol on the product or on the packaging indicates that this product
may not be treated as household waste. Instead it should be handed over
to the appliance collection point for the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly
you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environ-

OPERATING YOUR PIZZA OVEN
1. Position the pizza oven on a stable, at, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area.
WARNING Due to the extremely high temperatures being achieved, always operate the pizza
oven in a well-ventilated area as it may emit smoke during cooking.
2. If using the pizza stone, place it in the oven cavity before preheating.
IMPORTANT Handle the pizza stone with care as it is fragile. Do not wash or wet the surface of
the stone before using as it can be permanently damaged or cracked if heated when wet.
3. Plug in the pizza oven and press the power button to power it on. The controls and indicators
will light up and display the default manual settings (850°F and 1:30 minutes).
4. Turn the temperature dial to adjust manually or select any of the other preset programs and
then press the temperature dial to start preheating. The red HEAT indicator will light up, the
selected preset button will stay illuminated, and the interior light will turn on.
NOTETo stop the oven heating at any time, press the temperature dial once. An alert will sound
and the HEAT indicator will turn o. To power the oven o, press and hold the power button for
2 seconds.
5. During preheating (approximately 19-20 minutes) you can prepare your pizza. When the pizza
oven reaches the set temperature, an alert will sound and the green READY indicator will light up.
TIPFor best results, always make sure the pizza oven is preheated to the appropriate tempera-
ture for your desired pizza style. If cooking multiple styles, start with the style that requires the
lowest temperature.
6. Use the pizza peel to carefully slide the pizza onto the heated pizza stone and close the door.
WARNINGDO NOT TOUCH hot surfaces. Use extreme caution when operating the pizza oven.
Always protect your hands with non-slip oven mitts or similar and use the handles or knobs.
KNOW YOUR CONTROLS
1. Carefully unpack your Kenmore Outdoor Electric Pizza Oven and check that all parts and acces-
sories are present. Remove any promotional labels or stickers and safely dispose of plastic bags or
small pieces that could present a suocation or choking hazard.
2. Wipe the pizza stone, pizza peel, and the inside and outside of the pizza oven with a clean,
damp cloth to remove any dirt or dust and dry thoroughly.

Frozen, or manual)
