Note:

• Make sure that your smartphone or tablet supports the app.

• Range of coverage depends on the distance between

engine and device. Connection will hold for as long

as the green indicator light on the app is on.

• After approximately 5 minutes of inactivity, the engine

and the app disconnects. To start up the play again,

press one of the buttons on the top of the engine.

• You can drive the engine without the app and smartphone or tablet

by using the buttons on the top of the engine.

• It is recommended to turn oﬀ other Bluetooth devices while running the engine.

• The BRIO APP ENABLED ENGINE is free and can be downloaded unlimited times.

Trouble shooting:

1 Turn oﬀ the engine by using the button on the bottom of the engine.

2 Close the app and restart your device.

3 Turn on the engine and, start the app on your device and establish contact.

4 If the engine is not responding to the app, check the batteries.

This product requires a device with Bluetooth LE.

iOS: Apple iPhone 4s, iPad 3, iPad Mini, iPod touch (5 th gen). Requires iOS 8.3 or higher.

Android: Requires Android 4.3 or higher.

Installing (and changing) batteries:

The Engine requires 2 x 1.5 V AA batteries.

Loosen the screw on the battery cover on

the back of the engine. Install the batteries

according to the illustration (+/-).

Close battery cover, and tighten the screw.

Important!

• An adult should install and change batteries.

• Never try to recharge batteries which are not rechargeable.

• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before recharging.

• Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult supervision.

• Never mix battery types. Never mix new batteries with old.

• Use only recommended batteries of the same or corresponding type.

• Install the batteries with correct polarity.

• When the batteries are at, remove them from the product.

• Do not short-circuit the poles.

• Always remove the batteries if the product is not to be used for an extended period.

• Discharged batteries and old electrical and electronic products must be disposed of at an approved collection

centre. Such products must not be treated as domestic refuse.

• Do not expose batteries to damp or water.

Erste Schritte mit der BRIO App-gesteuerten Lok:

1 2 x 1.5 V AA-Batterien (nicht inbegriﬀen) in die Lok einsetzten. Die kostenlose App 2 BRIO APP ENABLED

ENGINE 3 4 aus dem App Store oder Google Play herunterladen. Die App öﬀnen. Die Bluetooth-Funktion auf

dem Gerät einschalten und mit der Lok verbinden. Den Schalter auf der Unterseite der Lok auf ON (EIN) schalten. 5

6 Wenn die App Verbindung zur Lok hat, leuchtet die grüne Kontrollleuchte in der App auf.

Hinweis:

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Ihr Smartphone bzw.

Tablett die App unterstützt.

• Reichweite hängt vom Abstand zwischen Lok und

Gerät ab. Die Verbindung bleibt solange bestehen, wie die

grüne Kontrollleuchte in der App auﬂeuchtet.

• Nach ca. 5 Minuten Inaktivität wird die Verbindung zwischen Lok und App

unterbrochen. Um das Spiel erneut zu starten, auf die Knöpfe oben auf der Lok drücken.

• Die Lok fährt auch ohne App und Smartphone durch Betätigung der Knöpfe oben auf der Lok.

• Es wird empfohlen, das Bluetooth-Gerät auszuschalten, während die Lok fährt.

Behebung von Fehlern:

1 Die Lok mit Hilfe des Knopfes unten auf der Lok ausschalten.

Remarque :

• La portée de la couverture dépend de la distance entre la locomotive et

l'appareil. La connexion sera maintenue aussi longtemps que le témoin

• Après environ 5 minutes d'inactivité, la locomotive et l'application

se déconnectent. Pour recommencer à jouer, appuyez sur l'un

des boutons en haut de la locomotive.

• Vous pouvez piloter la locomotive sans l'application manuellement à l'aide

des boutons au sommet de la locomotive.

• Il est recommandé de désactiver les autres appareils Bluetooth lorsque vous

Solución de problemas:

Solucionar falhas simples:

1 Desligar o motor com o botão na parte de baixo do motor.

2 Fechar a App e reiniciar o seu aparelho.

3 Desligar o motor e iniciar a App no seu aparelho para estabelecer o contacto.

4 Se o motor continuar sem responder à App, controlar as baterias.

• Assicurarsi che lo smartphone o il tablet supportino l'app.

• Dopo circa 5 minuti di inattività, il motore e l'app si scollegano. Per riavviare

il gioco, premere uno dei pulsanti sulla parte superiore del motore.

• È possibile guidare il motore senza l'app e lo smartphone o il tablet utilizzando i pulsanti

sulla parte superiore del motore.

• Durante il funzionamento del motore, si consiglia di spegnere gli altri dispositivi Bluetooth presenti.

Risoluzione dei problemi:

1 Spegnere il motore utilizzando il pulsante sul retro del motore.

2 Chiudere l'app e riavviare il dispositivo.

3 Per stabilire la connessione, accendere il motore e avviare l'app sul dispositivo.

4 Se il motore non risponde sull'app, controllare le batterie.
