Requirements

Installation
Warning: PCIe Cards can be damaged by static electricity. Ensure that the Installer
is properly grounded before they open the Computer Case or touch the M.2 NVMe
SSD Backplane. The Installer should wear an Anti-Static Strap when installing any
computer component. If an Anti-Static Strap is not available, discharge any built-up
static electricity by touching a large Grounded Metal Surface for several seconds.
Only handle the M.2 NVMe SSD Backplane by its edges and do not touch the gold
connectors.
Note: Consult the documentation that came with the Computer/Motherboard for
details regarding how to enable and congure PCIe Bifurcation.
Install the M.2 Storage Drives
1. Remove the from the Drive Tray M.2 NVMe SSD Backplane
2. Remove the from the by pressing the two Heat Sink Cover Removable Drive Tray
Plastic Heat Sink Latching Locks, located near the back of the tray, towards each
other.
3. Place the next to the and note the that Drive Drive Tray Adjustable Stando Holes
match the length of the .Drive
4. Remove the Adjustable by pressing the side of the Adjustable Stando and Stando
sliding it towards the front of the tray.

Note: Hot swapping the drives while the computer is turned on is dependent on the
Computer/Motherboard. Please consult with the manufacturer regarding PCIe Hot
Swap support.
1. Ensure the is in the position. Drive Tray Lock Unlocked
2. Align the with the located on the Drive Tray Drive Tray Bay M.2 NVMe SSD
Backplane Computer at the rear of the .
3. Gently insert the until it is fully inserted.Drive Tray
Note: Make sure the drive tray is fully inserted before closing the latch. If inserted
properly, the drive tray will be ush with the PCIe bracket. If the drive tray is inserted
incorrectly, the drive tray will protrude from the PCIe bracket and the drive tray will not
make full contact in the drive bay.
4. Use one of the included to the in place.Keys Lock Drive Tray
5. Repeat for the second . Steps 1 - 4 M.2 NVMe Drive
6. Reconnect the to the rear of the .Power Cable Computer
