1. Read Instructions - All the safety and operating instructions should be read
before the appliance is operated.
2. Retain Instructions - The safety and operating instructions should be retained
for future reference.
3. Heed Warnings - All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions
should be adhered to.
4. Follow Instructions - All operating and other instructions should be followed.
5. Water and Moisture - The appliance should not be used near water - for
example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement,
or near a swimming pool, etc.
6. Carts and Stands - The appliance should be used only with a cart or stand that
is recommended by the manufacturer.

ceiling only as recommended by the manufacturer.

1. LINE LEVEL INPUTS: These connectors are for unbalanced
line-level inputs and accept standard RCA audio interconnect cables.
2. BALANCED INPUTS: These connectors are for balanced
line-level inputs and accept bare wire input connections via Phoenix
connector blocks.
3. DIGITAL INPUTS: These connectors are for digital audio inputs
and accept coaxial or optical input connections.
4. ANALOG OUTPUTS: These connectors are for line-level analog
audio outputs and accept bare wire connections via Phoenix
connector blocks or standard RCA audio interconnect cables.
5. LOGIC I/O & REMOTE CTRL: These connectors are for Logic
Input/Output connections and Remote Control and accept bare wire
connections via Phoenix connector blocks.
6. TRIGGER IN: This connection is for a Remote Trigger input and
accepts a 3.5mm auxiliary cable.
7. TRIGGER OUT: These connections are for a Remote Trigger
output and accept 3.5mm auxiliary cables.
8. ETHERNET: This connection is for an Ethernet connection to a
network device and accepts RJ45-connector ethernet cable.
9. PRIMARY/POE: This connection is for a Dante/PoE connection
to a Dante network and accepts RJ45-connector ethernet cable.
10. SERVICE PORT: This connection is used for service
by the manufacturer.
11. DC POWER: This port is for an optional 12V DC power supply.

The DSM-16 is supplied with rack mounting adapters for the convenience of installing the amplier in standard 19” equipment racks.
The DSM-16 occupies one (1) standard rack unit position. The supplied adapters are easily attached to the left and right side of the DSM-16
chassis with the supplied screws. Depending on the application it may be necessary to remove the rubber isolation feet.
