GENERAL INFORMATION
This digital multimeter was designed with a view to comply with the safety
requirements of standard IEC 61010-1. Complies with 600 V CAT IV and 1000
V CAT III measurement categories and Category 2 contamination require-
ments. Before using this instrument, please read this instruction manual and
observe the relevant safety precautions. CAT IV: Measurements on low volta-
ge power sources: For example, consumption meters, input cabinets, primary
surge protection devices
CAT III: Measurements inside buildings or plants. For example, xed equip-
ment, distribution panel, cabling, bus bars, switches, surge protection distri-
bution box, etc.
Warning! These operating instructions contain the information and war-
nings required for the safe use and maintenance of the unit. Read and under-
stand the instructions for use before using the device. Failure to understand
the instructions or observe the warnings can result in serious personal injury
or property damage. For your safety, please use the probe cable included
with the multimeter. Before use, please check that your multimeter is intact.
APPLIED SAFETY MARKING
Important safety presciptions in the user manual
Possibility of dangerous voltage presence
Grounding (COM)
Double grounding (Contact protection class II)
Alternating current / alternating voltage
Direct current / direct voltage
Fuse protected. Please replace according to the instructions for use.
PUSHBUTTONS:
SEL Switching between °C and °F measuring in TEMP position In the posi-
tion of voltage or current measuring: ACV/DCV, ACA/DCA In or
position: selecting the diode, or beep sound on/off switch
Hz% In position of AC voltage or AC current measuring: Each push of the
button shifts between ACV/Hz/% and ACA/Hz/% measuring mode.
In frequency position: switching upon push of button between Hz or %
measuring mode.
H Pressing this button will store the measured reading on the display.
Pressing the button again or changing functions will cause the instru-
ment to clear the data.
Holding it for 3 seconds, switches the backlight on or off, backlight will
turn off after 15 minutes individually
INPUT SOCKETS
COM ( )common socket for all quantities to be mea-
sured and transistor testing (COM) (negative)
V, Ω, Hz %, , ,
, °C/°F
voltage, resistance, capacity, frequency,
temperature, duty factor and diode tester
input (positive)
10A current (400 mA – 10 A) input (positive)
Contact free phase detection (NCV): Set the rotary switch to „NCV” position.
If the multimeter’s front (marked by 1 in gure) is brought close to a live con-
ductor, the multimeter’s light (marked by 2 in gure) and buzzer will activate.
Note: Do not rely solely on the instrument, as dangerous voltage may still be
present in the conductor being tested even if there is no indication. Detection
can depend on the type of socket, the thickness of insulation, RF interference
and other factors, which can falsify the measurement.
DC voltage measurement ( V)
Connect the red probe cable to the socket, and the black one to the
“COM” socket. Set the dial to the DC voltage position. Connect the measure-
ment probes to the circuit to be measured. Note: The reading can be unstable,
especially in the 400 mV measurement range, if the probe cable is not con-
nected to the circuit being measured.
Measurement limit Resolution Accuracy (18 – 28°C)
600 mV 100 µV
±(0,5% + 3 dg.)
6 V 1 mV
60 V 10 mV
600 V 100 mV
1000 V 1 V ± (0,5 % + 3 dg.)
Input impedance: 10 MΩ
Maximum input voltage: 1000 V DC vagy 750 V AC RMS
Alterenating voltage measurement (~V)
Connect the red probe cable to the socket, and the black one to the
“COM” socket. Set the dial to the alternating voltage function. Connect the
measuring probes to the circuit to be measured. Note: The reading can be
unstable, especially in the 400 mV measurement range, if the probe cable is
not connected to the circuit being measured.
Measurement limit Resolution Accuracy (18 – 28°C)
6 V 1 mV
± (0,8% + 3 dg.)60 V 10 mV
600 V 100 mV
750 V 1 V ± (0,8% + 3 dg.)
Input impedance/: 10 MΩ
Maximum input voltage: 1000 V DC or 750 V AC RMS
Measuring range: 40 Hz - 400 Hz
Measurement of AC (µA , mA , 10 A )
Connect the black probe cable to the “COM” socket. Connect the red probe
cable and set the selector dial according to the current values to be measured:
Current to be
measured
Red probe cable
connection (socket) Dial setting
0-4mA µA mA µA
4-400mA µA mA mA
0,4-10A 10A A
Use „SEL” pushbutton to set direct current ( ) function. Interrupt the circuit
whose current is to be measured then connect the probe to the points to be
measured.
Measurement limit Resolution Accuracy (18 – 28°C)
60 µA 0,01 µA
± (0,8% + 3 dg.)
600 µA 0,1 µA
6 mA 0,001 mA
60 mA 0,01 mA
600 mA 0,1 mA
10 A 10 mA ± (1,2% + 3 dg.)
Overload protection: , FF 600 mA / 1000 V
in 10 A position: FF10A/1000 V
Maximum input current: , 600 mA DC/AC
in 10 Amper position: 10 A DC/AC
When the measured current is bigger than 5 A, continuous measuring
time can not be longer than 10 seconds, and at least 1 minute has to be
spent between two measuring.
