Introduction
The Digital Medical Thermometer provides quick, highly accurate reading over the
human body temperature range. The quality of the thermometer has been veri-
ed and conforms to the provisions of the EC council directive 93/42/EEC(Medical
Device Directive) Annex I essential requirements and applied harmonized stand-
ards. EN 12470-3: 2000 /A1: 2009 Clinical thermometers-Part 3: Performance of
compact electrical thermometers (non-predictive and predictive) with maximum
device.
Attention: Consult the accompanying documents. Please read this manual
carefully before use. Please be sure to keep this manual.
Battery Replacement
Place a new 1.5V D.C. button size battery type SR41 or LR41 or equivalent in the
chamber with positive side faced up and negative side faced down.
Display on the LCD
M: Last measured temperature.
: When the appears on the bottom right corner of the LCD, the battery
is exhausted and needs replacement.

Cleaning and Disinfection
1. Clean the unit by wiping it with a dry cloth and disinfect the probe with ethyl
alcohol.
2. Don’t let the unit contact any chemical thinner.
3. Do not soak the display in water.
Caution
‱ Do not bend, drop or twist the thermometer. It is not shockproof.
‱ Do not store the unit under direct sunlight, at a high temperature, in high humid-
ity or dust.
‱ Do not disassemble. See BATTERY REPLACEMENT to replace battery.
‱ Avoid strong electromagnetic interference such as microwave ovens and cell
phones.
‱ Keep battery away from children. Harmful is swallowed.
‱ Battery should not be charged or placed into extreme heat as it may explode.
‱ Remove battery from the thermometer when not in operation for a long time.
‱ If the unit is stored in an extreme environment before measurement, please make
sure it has been rstly adapted in the room temperature, so that the unit can be
measured normally.
‱ Measurement results are for reference only. Contact your physician if you have
or suspect any medical problems. Do not change your medications without the
advice of your physician or healthcare professional.
‱ This device may not meet its performance specication if stored or used outside
temperature and humidity ranges specied in specications.
‱ If this device is used according to the operations instruction, periodic re-calibration
is not required. If you still have questions, please send the device to dealers.
‱ Please do not dispose of the product in the household waste at the end of its useful
life. Disposal can take place at your local retailer or at appropriate collection points
provided in your country.
‱ High, prolonged fever requires medical attention especially for young children.
Please contact your physician.
‱ For safe reason, during children’s temperature measurement, please keep them
from crying, walking, talking and any related dangerous activities.
‱ Usage of the probe cover may result in a 0.1°C(0.2°F) diîƒČerence from actual
temperature.
‱ To clean the probe before and after using the thermometer to ensure an accurate
reading and avoid cross contamination approximately, no matter the prove cover
has been installed or not.
‱ Do not drink hot or cold uids, exercise, and smoke or perform other activities
prior to a reading. These activities will raise or lower temperature readings when
compared to your normal, average temperature.
‱ Please ensure the close contact between the probe and the armpit of the baby
or children.

Legen Sie eine neue Knopfzelle (1.5 V, Typ SR41 oder LR41) oder eine Àhnliche Knopf-
zelle mit dem Pluspol nach oben und dem Minuspol nach unten in das Batteriefach ein.

Bedieningsinstructies
De digitale thermometer levert een snelle, zeer nauwkeurige meting van de li-
chaamstemperatuur. Als de thermometer wordt gebruikt door kinderen is toezicht
van een volwassene verplicht. De kwaliteit van het apparaat is gecontroleerd en
voldoet aan de vereisten van EC richtlijn 93/42/EEC (Richtlijn medische hulp-
middelen) Annex I fundamentele voorschriften en toegepaste geharmoniseerde
normen. EN 12470-3:2000/A1 :2009 Klinische thermometers- Deel 3: Prestatie
van compacte elektrische thermometers (niet voorspellend en voorspellend) met
maximum apparaat.
Let op: Raadpleeg de bijgaande documentatie. Lees deze handleiding
aandachtig door voor u het apparaat in gebruik neemt. Bewaar deze
handleiding goed.
Batterij vervangen
Plaats een nieuwe 1.5V DC knoopbatterij type SR41, LR41 of equivalent in het vakje
met de positieve pool naar boven en de negatieve pool naar beneden.

Reinigen en desinfecteren
1. Reinig de eenheid door hem af te vegen met een droge doek en desinfecteren
de punt met ethylalcohol.
2. Laat de eenheid niet in aanraking komen met chemische verdunningsmiddelen.
3. Dompel de display niet onder in water.
Waarschuwingen
‱ De thermometer niet buigen of la ten vallen. Hij is niet schokbestendig.
‱ De eenheid niet in direct zonlicht, bij hoge temperatuur of luchtvochtigheid of in
een stoge omgeving bewaren.
‱ Niet demonteren. Zie BATTERIJ VERVANGEN voor het vervangen van de batterij.
‱ Voorkom sterke elektromagnetische interferentie zoals van magnetrons en
mobiele telefoons.
‱ Houd de batterij buiten het bereik van kinderen. Inslikken is schadelijk.
‱ Laad de batterij niet op en plaats hem niet in extreme hitte, hij kan ontploîƒČen.
‱ Haal de batterij uit het apparaat als dit gedurende een langere tijd niet wordt
gebruikt.
‱ Indien het apparaat nabij het vriespunt wordt bewaard, laat het dan voor gebruik
acclimatiseren aan de kamertemperatuur.
‱ Resultaten van metingen zijn uitsluitend bedoeld als referentie. Neem contact
op uw met uw arts indien u een medisch probleem heeft of vermoedt. Wijzig
uw medicatie niet zonder het advies van uw arts of gezondheidszorgprofessional.
‱ Dit apparaat functioneert mogelijk niet naar behoren als het wordt bewaard of
gebruikt buiten het temperatuur- en vochtigheidsbereik zoals aangegeven in
de specicaties.
‱ Als het apparaat echter volgens de bedieningsinstructies wordt gebruikt, is peri-
odieke herijking niet nodig. Als u nog vragen heeft, kunt u het apparaat opsturen
naar de verkopers.
