The GVIF- Kit allows the user to add up to 3 video inputs and a backup camera input to the JAG
factory media screen in select Jaguar vehicles Audio integraon requires that the vehicle have .
a factory audio input.

Installaon
1. Locate the factory navigaon drive and gain access to the connectors. The drive usually
can be found in the trunk. Disconnect any connected harnesses to the NAV drive
temporarily .
2. Gather the provided from the GVIF- kit. Connect the ‘Power/CAN Harness’ JAG
following wires to the car:
Note: CAN connecon is not supported at this me. You must connect the GRAY wire
to a reverse lamp for reverse acvaon!
3. Disconnect the factory GVIF cable from the NAV drive, this is a
square, blue connector.
4. Connect the X provided male side (labeled ‘L IN’) of the GVIF video
cable to the NAV drive .
5. Connect the free end (removed in step 3) of the factory GVIF
video cable to the female side of the provided GVIF video cable (labeled ‘LXOUT’).
6. Connect the white end of the GVIF video cable to the interface at the port labeled ‘GVIF
IN/OUT’.
7. Connect the AV Input cable to the port on the GVIF- interface labeled JAG ‘AV IN/OUT’.
If you’re only connecng a reverse camera (and no other
inputs), the signal input from the camera must connect
to the RCA labeled . Refer to the dip-‘REAR-C’
switch sengs chart to skip/enable AV sources
upon toggle switch presses (oponal. Page 2 ).
8. Ad JAGjust dip switches on the GVIF- interface properly, refer to the chart on page 2 for
qualicaons.
9. Connect the white plug from the to the port on the GVIF- ‘Power/CAN Harness’ JAG
interface labeled ‘Power/CAN’.
