4) Das Kabel vom VerstÀrker an eine Klemme
„+“ und eine Klemme „−“ anschließen.
Dabei darauf achten, dass der Lautsprecher
genauso gepolt wird wie die ĂŒbrigen Laut-
sprecher seines Beschallungsbereichs.
Ist eine Leitung zu einem weiteren Lautspre-
cher vorhanden (siehe oben), diese mit den
beiden zusÀtzlichen Klemmen verbinden.
5) Mithilfe eines Schraubendrehers den Dreh-
schalter auf die gewĂŒnschte Betriebsart ein-
stellen:

8 Ω: bei Anschluss an einen nieder-
ohmigen VerstÀrkerausgang
Wichtig: In der Position 8 Ω den Lautspre-
cher auf keinen Fall in einer 100-V-Anlage
betreiben. Der Lautsprecher und auch der
VerstÀrker können beschÀdigt werden.
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des VerstÀrkers
durch alle angeschlossenen Lautsprecher.
Eine Überlastung kann den VerstĂ€rker be-
schÀdigen!
6) Die Abdeckplatte mit den beiliegenden
Schrauben fest verschließen und die Schraub-
kappen der KabeldurchfĂŒhrungen festdre-
hen, sodass keine Feuchtigkeit eindringen
kann.
7) Den Lautsprecher ausrichten und die beiden
Halteschrauben festdrehen. Zur zusÀtzlichen
Fixierung auf jeder Seite eine der beiliegen-
den Inbusschrauben durch den Montage-
bĂŒgel in eines der beiden Gewindelöcher am
LautsprechergehÀuse einschrauben.

FĂŒr eine zusĂ€tzliche, unabhĂ€ngige Sicherung
das mitgelieferte Sicherungsseil mit der drit-
ten Inbusschraube an dem Gewindeloch
unterhalb der Abdeckplatte befestigen.

ELA-Lautsprecher
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure
mit Fachkenntnissen in der Beschallungs-
technik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor
der Installation grĂŒndlich durch und heben
Sie sie fĂŒr ein spĂ€teres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Der Lautsprecher ist speziell fĂŒr den Einsatz in
ELA-Beschallungsanlagen konzipiert und kann
als Wand- oder Deckenlautsprecher verwen-
det werden. Er ist mit einer ZertiïŹzierung nach
EN 54-24 fĂŒr den Einsatz in Sprachalarmierungs-
anlagen zugelassen.
Der Lautsprecher ist mit einem Übertrager fĂŒr
den Betrieb in 100-V-Anlagen ausgestattet, kann
aber auch im 8-Ω-Betrieb an einen niederohmi-
gen VerstÀrkerausgang angeschlossen werden.
Über einen Drehschalter lĂ€sst sich zwischen drei
Leistungsanzapfungen des 100-V-Übertragers
und dem 8-Ω-Betrieb wÀhlen.
Durch das verwendete 2-Wege-Koaxialsys-
tem wird eine sehr gute KlangqualitĂ€t fĂŒr Spra-
che und Musik erreicht. Dank seines robusten,
wetterfesten ABS-GehÀuses ist der Lautsprecher
auch fĂŒr Außeninstallationen geeignet. Das Ge-
hÀuse ist ballwurfsicher.
2 Wichtige Gebrauchshinweise
Das Produkt entspricht allen relevanten Richt-
linien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekenn-
zeichnet.

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein tro-
ckenes oder angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch,
auf keinen Fall scharfe Reinigungsmittel oder
Chemikalien.
‱
Wird das Produkt falsch verwendet, nicht sicher
installiert oder nicht fachgerecht repa riert,
kann keine Haftung fĂŒr daraus resultierende
Sach- oder PersonenschÀden und keine Ga-
rantie fĂŒr das Produkt ĂŒbernommen werden.
Soll das Produkt endgĂŒltig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, entsor-
gen Sie es gemĂ€ĂŸ den örtlichen Vor-
schriften.
3 Installation
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berĂŒhrungsge-
fÀhrliche Spannung bis 100 V
an der Lautsprecherleitung an.
Die Installation darf nur durch
Fachpersonal erfolgen.
1) Vor der Installation des Lautsprechers den
ELA- VerstÀrker ausschalten, damit die Laut-
sprecherleitung spannungsfrei ist!
2) -Den MontagebĂŒgel mit geeignetem Mon
tagematerial so an der gewĂŒnschten Stelle
befestigen, dass der Lautsprecher mit seinen
beiden seitlichen Halteschrauben darin ein-
gehÀngt werden kann.
3) Das Anschlusskabel vom VerstÀrker durch
die KabeldurchfĂŒhrung in der beiliegenden
Abdeckplatte ziehen.
Soll eine Leitung zum nÀchsten Lautspre-
cher weitergefĂŒhrt werden, an der Abdeck-
platte die vorgestanzte Durchbruchstelle fĂŒr
die beiliegende zweite KabeldurchfĂŒhrung
durchbohren, diese KabeldurchfĂŒhrung dort
montieren und die Leitung hindurchfĂŒhren.

4) Connect the cable from the ampliïŹer to a
terminal “+” and a terminal “−”. Make sure
that the polarity of the speaker is the same as
that of the other speakers in its speaker zone.
If there is a cable to another speaker (see
above), connect this cable to the two addi-
tional terminals.
5) Use a screwdriver to set the rotary switch to
the operating mode:

8 Ω: when connected to a low -
impedance ampliïŹer output
Important: In position 8 Ω, never operate the
speaker in a 100 V system. Risk of damage to
the speaker and to the ampliïŹer!
Always observe the load on the ampliïŹer
by all speakers connected. Overload may
damage the ampliïŹer!
6) Tighten the screws provided to secure the
cover plate and fasten the screw caps of
the cable entries to prevent moisture from
entering.
7)
Align the speaker and fasten the two locking
screws. To additionally secure the speaker:
On both sides of the speaker, screw one of
the hexagon socket screws provided through
the mounting bracket into one of the two
threaded holes on the speaker housing.
8) A safety rope is provided for additional and
independent safety: Attach the safety rope
to the threaded hole underneath the cover
plate using the third hexagon socket screw.

PA Speaker
These instructions are intended for installers
with speciïŹc knowledge of PA technology.
Please read the instructions carefully prior
to installation and keep them for later ref-
erence.
1 Applications
The speaker is specially designed for PA systems
and can be used as a wall or ceiling speaker. It
is approved for use in voice alarm systems and
certiïŹed in accordance with EN 54-24.
The speaker is equipped with a transformer
for operation in 100 V systems, but in 8 Ω mode,
it can also be connected to a low-impedance
ampliïŹer output. A rotary switch allows selec-
tion between three power taps of the 100 V
transformer and 8 Ω mode.
The 2-way coaxial system used ensures excel
-
lent sound quality for both speech and music.
The speaker with its robust, weatherproof ABS
housing is also suitable for outdoor installation.
The housing is ball impact resistant.

slightly wet; never use aggressive detergents
or chemicals.

product is not correctly used, if it is not safely
installed or not repaired in an expert way.
If the product is to be put out of opera-
tion deïŹnitively, dispose of the product
in accordance with local regulations.
3 Installation
WARNING During operation, there is a
hazard of contact with danger-
ous voltage of up to 100 V at
the speaker cable. Installation
must always be carried out by
skilled personnel.
1) Before installing the speaker, switch off the
PA ampliïŹer so that the speaker cable will not
carry any voltage!
2)
Use suitable mounting material to attach the
mounting bracket to the desired location.
Then hook the speaker into the bracket by
means of the two screws on its sides.
3) Pull the connection cable from the ampliïŹer
through the cable entry in the cover plate
provided.
To route a cable to the next speaker, drill open
the pre-punched hole in the cover plate for
the second cable entry provided, fasten this
cable entry at the hole and guide the cable
through it.

et faites passer le cĂąble.
4) Reliez le cĂąble de l’ampliïŹcateur Ă  une borne
« + » et une borne « − ». Veillez Ă  ce que la
polaritĂ© de l’enceinte soit la mĂȘme que celle
des autres enceintes dans sa zone de sono-
risation.
Si une autre ligne vers une autre enceinte est
prévue (voir ci-dessus), reliez-la avec les deux
bornes supplémentaires.
5) Avec un tournevis, réglez le sélecteur sur le
mode de fonctionnement souhaité :

pliïŹcateur basse impĂ©dance
Important : Sur la position 8 Ω, ne faites
jamais fonctionner l’enceinte dans une instal-
lation ligne 100 V. L’enceinte et l’ampliïŹcateur
peuvent ĂȘtre endommagĂ©s.
Veillez Ă  la charge de l’ampliïŹcateur par
toutes les enceintes reliées. Une surcharge
peut endommager l’ampliïŹcateur !
6) Fixez le cache fermement avec les vis livrées
et serrez les capuchons des passages de cĂąble
pour Ă©viter que l’humiditĂ© ne puisse pĂ©nĂ©trer.
7) Orientez l’enceinte et serrez les deux vis de
ïŹxation. Pour une ïŹxation supplĂ©mentaire,
vissez de chaque cÎté une des vis à 6 pans
creux livrĂ©es, Ă  travers l’étrier de montage,
dans un des deux trous ïŹletĂ©s sur la caisse
de l’enceinte.
8) -Pour une sécurisation supplémentaire indé
pendante, ïŹxez l’élingue livrĂ©e avec la troi-
siĂšme vis Ă  6 pans creux dans le trou ïŹletĂ©
au-dessous du cache.

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs avec
des connaissances technique en sonorisa-
tion. Veuillez lire la présente notice avant le
fonctionnement et conservez-la pour pou-
voir vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 PossibilitĂ©s d’utilisation
Cette enceinte est spécialement conçue pour
une utilisation dans des installations de sonori-
sation Public Adress et peut ĂȘtre utilisĂ©e comme
enceinte murale ou de plafond. De par sa cer-
tiïŹcation EN54-24, elle peut ĂȘtre utilisĂ©e dans
des installations d’alerte par message vocaux.
L’enceinte est dotĂ©e d’un transformateur
pour un fonctionnement dans des installations
100 V, elle peut Ă©galement ĂȘtre reliĂ©e Ă  une
sortie ampliïŹcateur basse impĂ©dance pour un
fonctionnement 8 Ω. Un sélecteur rotatif permet
de sélectionner entre trois réglages de puissance
du transformateur 100 V et le mode 8 Ω.
Le systÚme coaxial 2 voies utilisé garantit
une excellente qualité sonore pour les paroles
et la musique. GrĂące Ă  sa caisse ABS robuste,
résistante aux intempéries, cette enceinte est
adaptée pour des utilisations en extérieur. La
caisse est résistante aux jets de ballons.
2 Conseils importants d’utilisation
Le produit répond à toutes les directives né-
cessaires de l’U.E. et porte donc le symbole .

3 Installation
AVERTISSEMENT
Pendant le fonctionnement,
une tension dangereuse
jusqu’à 100 V est prĂ©sente
sur le cĂąble haut-parleur.
Seul un personnel qualiïŹĂ©
peut effectuer l’installation.
1) Avant l’installation de l’enceinte, Ă©teignez
l’ampliïŹcateur PA pour que les cĂąbles haut-
parleurs ne soient pas porteurs de tension.
2) Fixez l’étrier de montage avec le matĂ©riel
adĂ©quat Ă  l’endroit voulu de telle sorte que
l’enceinte puisse y ĂȘtre accrochĂ©e avec ses
deux vis de ïŹxation latĂ©rales.
3) -Tirez le cĂąble de branchement de l’ampliïŹ
cateur Ă  travers le passage de cĂąble dans le
cache livré.
Si un cĂąble doit ĂȘtre dirigĂ© vers l’enceinte
suivante, percez sur le cache le point de pas-
sage prédécoupé pour le deuxiÚme passage
