Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure,

die ausreichende Fachkenntnisse in der

100-V-Beschallungstechnik besitzen. Bitte

lesen Sie die Anleitung vor der Installation

gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für ein spä-

teres Nachlesen auf.

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Diese 2-Wege-Lautsprecherbox zur Wand-

montage ist speziell für den Einsatz in Beschal-

lungsanlagen konzipiert. Sie ist mit einem

Übertrager für den Betrieb in 100-V-Anlagen

ausgestattet, kann aber auch direkt an einen

niederohmigen Verstärkerausgang ange-

schlossen werden. Die Lautsprecherbox ist

wetterfest (IP 55) und kann darum auch im

Außenbereich eingesetzt werden.

2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch

Die Lautsprecherbox entspricht allen relevan-

ten Richtlinien der EU und trägt deshalb das

-Zeichen.

•

Schützen Sie die Lautsprecherbox vor gro-

ßer Hitze und Kälte (zulässiger Einsatztem-

peraturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

•

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein tro-

ckenes oder angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch,

These instructions are intended for installers

with sufﬁcient knowledge in sound reproduc-

tion using 100 V technology. Please read the

instructions carefully prior to installation and

keep them for later reference.

1 Applications

This 2-way speaker system for wall mount-

ing is especially designed for applications in

PA systems. It is equipped with a transformer

for operation in 100 V systems, but it can

also directly be connected to a low-imped-

ance ampliﬁer output. The speaker system is

weatherproof (IP 55) and is therefore also suit-

able for outdoor applications.

2 Important Notes

The speaker system corresponds to all relevant

directives of the EU and is therefore marked

with .

•

Protect the speaker system against exces-

sive heat and cold (admissible ambient tem-

perature range 0 – 40 °C).

•

For cleaning only use a soft cloth, dry or

slightly damp; never use aggressive deter-

gents or chemicals.

3 Installation

WARNUNG Beim Betrieb in 100-V-Anla-

gen liegt berührungsgefähr-

liche Spannung bis 100 V an

der Lautsprecherleitung an.

Die Installation darf nur durch

Fachpersonal erfolgen.

Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Ver-

stärkers durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Über-

lastung kann den Verstärker beschädigen!

Die Summe der Leistungen aller angeschlos-

senen Lautsprecher darf die Verstärkerleis-

tung nicht überschreiten.

•

No guarantee claims for the speaker sys-

tem and no liability for any resulting per-

sonal damage or material damage will be

accepted if the speaker system is used for

other purposes than originally intended, if

it is not correctly installed or connected, or

if it is overloaded.

If the speaker system is to be put out

of operation deﬁnitively, take it to

a local recycling plant for a disposal

which is not harmful to the environ-

ment.

3 Installation

WARNING During operation in 100 V

systems, there is a hazard of

contact with a voltage of up

to 100 V at the speaker cable.

The installation must be made

by skilled personnel only.

Observe the load of the PA ampliﬁer by the

speakers. An overload may damage the am-

pliﬁer! The total power of all speakers con-

nected must not exceed the ampliﬁer power.

1) -Prior to the installation of the speaker sys

tem, switch off the PA ampliﬁer completely

so that the speaker cable will not carry

anyvoltage!

2) Zur Wandmontage den Montagebügel von

der Lautsprecherbox abschrauben und den

Bügel an ge wünschter Stelle der Wand be-

festigen.

3) -Die gewünschte Nennbelastung (Laut

stärke) mit dem Schalter (b) auf der Rück-

seite einstellen oder beim Betrieb an einem

niederohmigen Verstärkerausgang den

Schalter in die Position „8 Ω“ drehen.

VORSICHT! In der Position „8 Ω“ den

Lautsprecher auf keinen Fall in einer 100-V-

Anlage be treiben. Der Lautsprecher und

eventuell auch der Verstärker werden be-

schädigt.

4) -Die Lautsprecherbox über die Anschluss

klemmen (a) an den ELA-Verstärker an-

schließen. Beim Anschluss von mehreren

Lautsprechern darauf achten, dass die

Lautsprecher alle gleich gepolt werden

(z. B. schwarze Klemme = Minuspol).

5) Die Lautsprecherbox an dem Montage-

bügel festschrauben und optimal auf den

zu beschallenden Bereich ausrichten.

Änderungen vorbehalten.

2) For wall mounting, screw off the mounting

bracket from the speaker system and ﬁx

the bracket at the desired place of the wall.

3) Adjust the desired rated load (volume)

with the switch (b) on the rear side or, for

direct operation at a low-impedance am-

pliﬁer output, set the switch to the posi-

tion“8 Ω”.

CAUTION! Never use the position “8 Ω”

when the speaker is operated in a 100 V

system. The speaker and possibly the am-

pliﬁer will be damaged.

4) -Connect the speaker system via the con

necting terminals (a) to the PA ampli-

ﬁer. When connecting multiple speakers,

make sure that all speakers have the same

polarity (e. g. black terminal = negative

pole).

5) Tightly screw the speaker system at the

mounting bracket and align it to the

desired sound zone.

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori

che possiedono delle conoscenze speciﬁche

sufﬁcienti della tecnica di sonorizzazione a

100 V. Vi preghiamo di leggerle attentamente

prima dell‘installazione e di conservarle per un

uso futuro.

1 Possibilità d’impiego

Questa cassa acustica a 2 vie per montaggio

alla parete è stata realizzata specialmente per

l’impiego in impianti di sonorizzazione. È equi-

paggiata con un trasformatore per il funzio-

namento in impianti con uscita audio 100 V,

ma può essere collegata anche con un’uscita

a bassa impedenza dell’ampliﬁcatore. La cassa

è resistente alle intemperie (IP 55), e pertanto

può essere impiegata anche all’esterno.

2 Avvertenze importanti per l’uso

La cassa acustica è conforme a tutte le direttive

rilevanti dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .

•

Proteggere la cassa acustica da alto calore

e freddo (temperatura d’impiego ammessa

fra 0 e 40 °C).

•

Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,

asciutto o inumidito; non impiegare in nes-

sun caso detergenti aggressivi o prodotti

chimici.

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs pos-

sédant des connaissances sufﬁsantes en tech-

nique de sonorisation ligne 100 V. Veuillez lire

la présente notice avec attention avant l‘ins-

tallation et conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y

reporter ultérieurement.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation

Cette enceinte 2 voies pour montage mural

est spécialement conçue pour une utilisation

dans des installations de sonorisation. Elle est

dotée d’un transformateur pour fonctionne-

ment dans des installations 100 V, mais elle

peut également être directement reliée à une

sortie ampliﬁcateur basse impédance. L’en-

ceinte est protégée contre les intempéries

(IP 55) et peut donc être utilisée en extérieur.

2 Conseils importants d’utilisation

L’enceinte répond à toutes les directives né-

cessaires de l’Union européenne et porte

donc le symbole .

Protégez l’enceinte d’une chaleur élevée et

du froid (température ambiante admissible

0 – 40 °C).

•

Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un

chiffon sec ou légèrement humide, et doux,

3 Installazione

AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento

in im pianti a 100 V, nel cavo

per altoparlanti è presente

una tensione ﬁno a 100 V,

pericolosa in caso di con-

tatto. L’installazione deve

es sere eseguita solo da per-

sonale specializzato.

Tener presente anche il carico dell’ampli-

ﬁcatore PA da parte degli altoparlanti. Un

sovraccarico può danneggiare l’ampliﬁca-

tore! La somma delle potenze di tutti gli

altoparlanti collegati non deve superare la

potenza dell’ampliﬁcatore.

3 Installation

AVERTISSEMENT

Pendant le fonctionnement,

une tension de contact dan-

gereuse jusqu’à 100 V est pré-

sente au câble haut-parleur.

Seul un personnel qualiﬁé

peut effectuer l’installation.

Faites attention à la charge de l’ampliﬁcateur

PA par les haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut

en dommager l’ampliﬁcateur. La somme des

puissances de l’ensemble des enceintes re-

liées ne doit pas dépasser la puissance de

l’ampliﬁcateur.

1) Prima dell’installazione della cassa acustica,

spegnere l’ampliﬁcatore PA perché la linea

per altoparlanti sia completamente esente

da tensione!

2) Per il montaggio alla parete svitare la staffa

di montaggio dalla cassa e ﬁssare la staffa

nel punto desiderato della parete.

3) Con il selettore (b) sul retro impostare la

potenza nominale (il volume) richiesta op-

pure, in caso di collegamento con un’uscita

a bassa impedenza dell’ampliﬁcatore, gi-

rare il selettore in posizione “8 Ω”.

ATTENZIONE! In posizione “8 Ω”, non

usare in nessun caso l’altoparlante in un

impianto con uscita audio 100 V. L’altopar-

lante e eventualmente anche l’ampliﬁca-

tore subiranno dei danni.

4) -Collegare la cassa acustica con l’ampliﬁca

tore PA per mezzo dei morsetti di collega-

mento (a). Collegando più altoparlanti, fare

attenzione afﬁnché tutti abbiano la stessa

polarità (p. es. conduttore nero = polo

negativo).

5) Avvitare la cassa alla staffa di montaggio e

orientarla in modo ottimale verso la zona

da sonorizzare.

Con riserva di modiﬁche tecniche.

1) Avant d’installer l’enceinte, éteignez l’am-

pliﬁcateur Public Adress pour que le câble

haut-parleur ne soit pas porteur de tension!

2) Pour un montage mural, dévissez l’étrier

de montage de l’enceinte et ﬁxez l’étrier à

l’endroit voulu sur le mur.

3) Réglez la puissance nominale souhaitée

(volume) avec l’interrupteur (b) sur la face

arrière ou, pour un fonctionnement direct à

une sortie ampliﬁcateur basse impédance,

tournez l’interrupteur sur la positon «8 Ω».

ATTENTION ! En position «8 Ω», ne faites

jamais fonctionner l’enceinte dans une ins-

tallation 100 V. L’enceinte et éventuellement

l’ampliﬁcateur peuvent être endommagés.

4) -Reliez l’enceinte via les bornes (a) à l’am

pliﬁcateur Public Adress. Si vous branchez

plusieurs enceintes, veillez à ce qu’elles

aient toutes la même polarité (par exemple

borne noire = pôle moins).

5) Vissez l’enceinte sur l’étrier de montage

et orientez-le de manière optimale vers la

zone à sonoriser.
