Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs possĂ©dant des connais-
sances sufïŹsantes en technique de sonorisation ligne 100 V.
Veuillez lire la prĂ©sente notice avec attention avant l’installation
et conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 PossibilitĂ©s d’utilisation
Le haut-parleur est spécialement conçu pour une uti-
lisation dans des installations de Public Adress. Il est
Ă©quipĂ© d’un transformateur pour un fonctionnement
dans des systĂšmes 100 V, mais il peut Ă©galement ĂȘtre
reliĂ© directement Ă  des sorties basse impĂ©dance d’am-
pliïŹcateurs. L’adaptation de puissance s’effectue via la
sélection des cùbles de branchement. Grùce à son boß-
tier résistant aux intempéries (IP 44), il est également
utilisable en extérieur.
2 Conseils de sécurité
Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives nécessaires
de l’Union europĂ©enne et porte donc le symbole .
‱ ProtĂ©gez le haut-parleur d’une grande chaleur ou
d’un grand froid (plage de tempĂ©rature de fonction-
nement autorisĂ©e : 0 – 40 °C).
‱ Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon
doux, sec ou lĂ©gĂšrement humide, n’utilisez jamais de
produits chimiques ou de détergents agressifs.
‱ Nous dĂ©clinons toute responsabilitĂ© en cas de dom-
mages matériels ou corporels résultants si le haut-
parleur est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour
lequel il a Ă©tĂ© conçu, s’il n’est pas correctement ins-
tallĂ© ou s’il y a surcharge ; en outre, la garantie de-
viendrait caduque.
Lorsque le haut-parleur est dĂ©ïŹnitivement
retiré du service, éliminez-le conformément
aux directives locales.

3 Montage
Suspendez le haut-parleur via son cĂąble en utilisant les
accessoires de montage usuels pour lampes.
4 Branchement Ă©lectrique
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement, une ten-
sion de contact dangereuse jusqu’à
100 V est présente aux branchements.
Isolez impérativement les cordons de
branchement non utilisés.
Seul un personnel qualiïŹĂ© peut effectuer l’installa-
tion. Veillez Ă  adapter la puissance correctement. Une
puissance erronĂ©e peut endommager l’ampliïŹcateur
Public Adress !
1) Si l’installation Public Adress est allumĂ©e, veillez Ă  la
débrancher totalement !
2) Reliez le haut-parleur : reliez le conducteur noir
(pĂŽle moins) et le conducteur orange, gris ou blanc
en fonction de la puissance nominale souhaitée
par le haut-parleur, Ă  la sortie 100 V de l’ampliïŹca-
teur (voir tableau). Vous pouvez, Ă  la place, relier
le conducteur noir et le conducteur marron Ă  une
sortie basse impĂ©dance de l’ampliïŹcateur.
Si plusieurs haut-parleurs sont branchés, veillez à ce
que les haut-parleurs aient tous la mĂȘme polaritĂ©
(conducteur noir = pĂŽle moins) et que l’ampliïŹcateur
ne soit pas en surcharge.

PA Ball Speaker
These instructions are intended for installers with sufïŹcient
knowledge of 100 V technology for PA applications. Please
read the instructions carefully prior to installation and keep
them for later reference.
1 Applications
This speaker is specially designed for applications in PA
systems. It is equipped with a transformer for operation
at 100 V systems, but it may also be directly connected
to ampliïŹer outputs of low impedance. The connected
load is matched via selection of the connection cables.
Due to its weatherproof cabinet (IP 44), it is also suita-
ble for outdoor installation.
2 Safety Notes
The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives of the
EU and is therefore marked with .
‱ Protect the speaker against extreme high or low tem-
peratures (admissible ambient temperature range
0 – 40 °C).
‱ For cleaning only use a soft cloth, dry or slightly
damp; never use chemicals or aggressive detergents.
‱ No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material dam-
age will be accepted if the speaker is used for other
purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly
installed or if it is overloaded.
If the speaker is to be put out of operation
deïŹnitely, dispose of the speaker in accord-
ance with local regulations.
3 Mounting
Suspend the speaker from its cable using standard
mounting accessories for lamps.
4 Electrical Connection
WARNING During operation, there is a hazard of
contact with a dangerous voltage of up
to 100 V at the connections. Always insu-
late the connection cables which are not
used.
Installation must be carried out by skilled personnel
only. Observe the correct power matching. An incor-
rect matching may damage the PA ampliïŹer!
1) If the PA system is switched on, switch it off com-
pletely before connecting it!
2) -Connect the speaker: Connect the black core (nega
tive pole) and the orange, grey, or white core corre-
sponding to the desired power rating by the speaker
to the 100 V output of the ampliïŹer (see table). Al-
ternatively, connect the black core and the brown
core to an ampliïŹer output of low impedance.
When connecting several speakers, make sure that all
speakers have the same polarity (black core = negative
pole) and that the ampliïŹer is not overloaded.

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure mit Fachkennt-
nissen in der 100-V-Beschallungstechnik. Bitte lesen Sie die
Anleitung vor der Installation grĂŒndlich durch und heben Sie
sie fĂŒr ein spĂ€teres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser Lautsprecher ist speziell fĂŒr den Einsatz in
ELA-Anlagen konzipiert. Er ist mit einem Übertrager
fĂŒr den Betrieb an 100-V-Anlagen ausgestattet, kann
aber auch direkt an niederohmige VerstÀrkerausgÀnge
angeschlossen werden. Die Anpassung der Anschluss-
leistung erfolgt ĂŒber die Auswahl der Anschlussleitun-
gen. Durch sein wetterfestes GehÀuse (IP 44) ist er auch
fĂŒr Außeninstallationen verwendbar.
2 Sicherheitshinweise
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richt-
linien der EU und trÀgt deshalb das -Zeichen.
‱ SchĂŒtzen Sie den Lautsprecher vor großer Hitze und
KĂ€lte (zulĂ€ssiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
‱ Verwenden Sie fĂŒr die Reinigung nur ein trockenes
oder leicht angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen
Fall Chemikalien oder aggressive Reinigungsmittel.
‱ Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht fach-
gerecht installiert oder ĂŒberlastet, kann keine Haf-
tung fĂŒr daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personen-
schĂ€den und keine Garantie fĂŒr den Lautsprecher
ĂŒbernommen werden.
Soll der Lautsprecher endgĂŒltig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, entsorgen Sie
ihn gemĂ€ĂŸ den örtlichen Vorschriften.
3 Montage
Den Lautsprecher am Kabel mit fĂŒr Lampen ĂŒblichen
Montagemitteln aufhÀngen.
4 Elektrischer Anschluss
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berĂŒhrungsgefĂ€hrliche
Spannung bis 100 V an den AnschlĂŒssen
an. Isolieren Sie unbedingt die nicht be-
nutzten Anschlussleitungen. Die Installa-
tion darf nur durch Fachpersonal erfolgen.
Achten Sie auf die richtige Anpassung der Leistung.
Eine falsche Anpassung kann den ELA-VerstÀrker zer-
stören!
1) Falls die ELA-Anlage eingeschaltet ist, diese zuerst
komplett ausschalten!
2) Den Lautsprecher anschließen: Die schwarze Ader
(Minuspol) und die orange, graue oder weiße Ader,
entsprechend der gewĂŒnschten Nennbelastung
durch den Lautsprecher, mit dem 100-V-Ausgang des
VerstÀrkers verbinden (siehe Tabelle). Alternativ die
schwarze und die braune Ader an einen niederohmi-
gen VerstĂ€rkerausgang anschließen.
Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern darauf
achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich gepolt werden
(schwarze Ader = Minuspol) und dass der VerstÀrker
nicht ĂŒberlastet wird.

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instalatorów posiadają-
cych wiedzę w zakresie systemów PA pracujących w technice
100 V. Przed rozpoczęciem uĆŒytkowania proszę zapoznać się z
instrukcją, a następnie zachować ją do wglądu.
1 Zastosowanie
GƂoƛnik kulowy przeznaczony jest do zastosowania w
systemach PA. WyposaĆŒony jest w transformator 100 V,
moĆŒna go rĂłwnieĆŒ podƂączyć bezpoƛrednio do wyjƛcia
wzmacniacza o maƂej impedancji. Wymagana moc
gƂoƛnika moĆŒe być w prosty sposĂłb wybrana poprzez
przyƂączenie linii gƂoƛnikowej do odpowiedniej kom-
binacji przewodów zasilających. Obudowa odporna na
dziaƂanie czynnikĂłw atmosferycznych (IP 44) umoĆŒliwia
montaĆŒ urządzenia na zewnątrz.
2 BezpieczeƄstwo uĆŒytkowania
PoniewaĆŒ gƂoƛnik speƂnia wymogi norm obowiązują-
cych w Unii Europejskiej, zostaƂ oznaczony symbolem .
‱ NaleĆŒy chronić urządzenie przed dziaƂaniem bardzo
wysokich lub bardzo niskich temperatur (dopusz-
czalny zakres temperatury otoczenia pracy 0 – 40 °C).
‱ Do czyszczenia urządzenia naleĆŒy uĆŒywać miękkiej
tkaniny, suchej lub nieco wilgotnej; nie wolno uĆŒywać
chemicznych ƛrodków czyszczących ani detergentów.
‱ Producent ani dostawca nie ponoszą odpowiedzial-
noƛci za wynikƂe szkody (uszkodzenie sprzętu lub ob-
raĆŒenia uĆŒytkownika) jeƛli urządzenie byƂo uĆŒywane
niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem, jeƛli zostaƂo nieodpo-
wiednio zainstalowane, lub jeƛli byƂo przeciÄ…ĆŒone.
Po caƂkowitym zakoƄczeniu eksploatacji,
gƂo ƛnik naleĆŒy oddać do punktu utylizacji
odpadów, aby uniknąć zanieczyszczenia ƛro-
dowiska.
3 MontaĆŒ
NaleĆŒy zawiesić gƂoƛnik na przewodzie, stosując akce-
soria montaĆŒowe uĆŒywane do montaĆŒu lamp.
4 PodƂączenie
UWAGA W czasie pracy na przyƂączu linii występuje
niebezpieczne napięcie osiągające do 100 V.
NaleĆŒy zaizolować kable poƂączeniowe,
ktĂłre nie są uĆŒywane. PodƂączenie urządze-
nia naleĆŒy zlecić specjaliƛcie.
SzczegĂłlną uwagę naleĆŒy zwrĂłcić na odpowiedni
dobór mocy gƂoƛników do mocy wzmacniacza. Nieod-
powiedni dobĂłr mocy gƂoƛnikĂłw moĆŒe spowodować
uszkodzenie wzmacniacza PA.
1) Jeƛli zestaw PA jest wƂączony, przed rozpoczęciem
podƂączania naleĆŒy go wyƂączyć!
2) PodƂączanie gƂoƛnika: NaleĆŒy poƂączyć czarną ĆŒyƂę
(biegun ujemny) z ĆŒyƂą pomaraƄczową, szarą lub
biaƂą, w zaleĆŒnoƛci od ĆŒÄ…danej mocy znamionowej
gƂoƛnika, do wyjƛcia 100 V wzmacniacza (zob. ta-
bela). MoĆŒna teĆŒ podƂączyć czarny rdzeƄ z ĆŒyƂą brą-
zową do wyjƛcia wzmacniacza o maƂej impedancji.
Przy podƂączaniu kilku gƂoƛnikĂłw, naleĆŒy się upewnić,
czy wszystkie gƂoƛniki mają odpowiednią biegunowoƛć
(czarny rdzeƄ = biegun ujemny) i czy wzmacniacz nie
zostaƂ przeciÄ…ĆŒony.

Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a instaladores con un conoci-
miento suïŹciente sobre la tecnologĂ­a de 100 V en aplicaciones
para megafonĂ­a. Lea atentamente estas instrucciones antes de
la instalaciĂłn y guĂĄrdelas para usos posteriores.
1 Aplicaciones
Este altavoz estå especialmente diseñado para aplica-
ciones en sistemas de megafonĂ­a. EstĂĄ equipado con un
transformador para funcionar en sistemas de 100 V, sin
embargo, también puede ser conectado directamente
a salidas de ampliïŹcador de baja impedancia. La carga
conectada se ajusta mediante selecciĂłn de los cables
de conexiĂłn. Gracias a su recinto resistente a la intem-
perie (IP 44) también estå indicado para instalación en
exterior.
2 Notas Importantes
El altavoz cumple con todas las directivas relevantes de
laUE y por ello está marcado con .
‱ Proteja el altavoz de las temperaturas extremada-
mente altas o bajas rango de temperatura ambiente
ad misible: 0 – 40 °C).
‱ Utilice sĂłlo un paño suave seco o levemente hĂșmedo
para la limpieza; no utilice nunca ni productos quĂ­mi-
cos ni detergentes agresivos.
‱ No podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad al-
guna por cualquier daño personal o material produ-
cido si se utiliza el altavoz para ïŹnes diferentes a los
originalmente concebidos, si no se instala correcta-
mente, o si se sobrecarga.
Si el altavoz se va a dejar fuera de servicio
deïŹnitivamente, deshĂĄgase del altavoz
segĂșn las normativas locales.
3 Montaje
Cuelgue el altavoz de su cable utilizando accesorios de
montaje habituales para lĂĄmparas.
4 Conexión Eléctrica
ADVERTENCIA Durante el funcionamiento, existe un
riesgo de contacto con un voltaje de mĂĄs
de 100 V en las conexiones. AĂ­sle siempre
los cables de conexiĂłn que no se utilizan.
La instalaciĂłn sĂłlo debe llevarla a cabo personal es-
pecializado. FĂ­jese en el emparejamiento correcto de
la potencia. ÂĄUn emparejamiento incorrecto puede
dañar el ampliïŹcador de megafonĂ­a!
1) -ÂĄSi el sistema de megafonĂ­a estĂĄ conectado, desco
néctelo completamente!
2) Conecte el altavoz: Conecte el conductor negro
(polo negativo) y el naranja, gris, o blanco corres-
pondiendo a la potencia nominal deseada por el al-
tavoz a salida de 100 V del ampliïŹcador (vea tabla).
Alternativamente, conecte el conductor negro y el
conductor marrĂłn a una salida de ampliïŹcador de
baja impedancia.
Cuando conecte varios altavoces, asegĂșrese de que
todos los ampliïŹcadores tienen la misma polaridad
(conductor negro = polo negativo) y que el ampliïŹca-
dor no estĂĄ sobrecargado.

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori che possiedono
delle conoscenze speciïŹche sufïŹcienti della tecnica di sonoriz-
zazione a 100 V. Vi preghiamo di leggerle attentamente prima
dell’installazione e di conservarle per un uso futuro.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questo altoparlante Ăš stato realizzato in modo partico-
lare per l’impiego in impianti PA. È equipaggiato con
un trasformatore per impianti con uscita audio a 100 V,
ma puĂČ anche essere collegato direttamente con le
uscite a bassa impedenza di un ampliïŹcatore. L’adatta-
mento alla potenza di connessione avviene scegliendo
i conduttori di connessione. Grazie al contenitore re-
sistente alle intemperie (IP 44) puĂČ essere impiegato
anche per installazioni esterne.
2 Avvertenze di sicurezza
L’altoparlante ù conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti
dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .
‱ Proteggere l’altoparlante da forte freddo e caldo
(temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).
‱ Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto
o leggermente inumidito; non impiegare in nessun
caso prodotti chimici o detergenti aggressivi.
‱ Nel caso di uso improprio, di installazione sbagliata
o sovraccarico non si assume nessuna responsabilitĂ 
per eventuali danni consequenziali a cose o persone
e non si assume nessuna garanzia per l’altoparlante.
Se si desidera eliminare l’altoparlante deïŹni-
tivamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento
ad un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
3 Montaggio
Appendere l’altoparlante al cavo con i mezzi di mon-
taggio usati generalmente per lampade.
4 Connessione elettrica
AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento, ai contatti Ăš
presente una tensione pericolosa ïŹno a
100 V. Isolare assolutamente i condut-
tori di connessione non usati.
L’installazione deve essere fatta da personale qualiïŹ-
cato. Fare attenzione al corretto adattamento della
potenza. L’adattamento errato puĂČ provocare la di-
struzione dell’ampliïŹcatore PA!
1) Se l’impianto PA ù acceso, spegnerlo prima comple-
tamente!
2) -Collegare l’altoparlante: il conduttore nero (nega
tivo) e il conduttore arancione, grigio o bianco, a
seconda della potenza nominale desiderata, con
l’uscita 100 V dell’ampliïŹcatore (vedi tabella). In
alternativa si possono collegare i conduttori nero e
marrone con l’uscita a bassa impedenza di un am-
pliïŹcatore.
Nel caso di collegamento di piĂč altoparlanti fare at-
tenzione alla medesima polaritĂ  di tutti gli altoparlanti
(conduttore nero = negativo) e di non sovraccaricare
l’ampliïŹcatore.
