Voornaamste kenmerken
Regeling van drie-tonen
Dit toestel heeft een 3-tonen regelfunctie voor het instellen van
de middentoon, lage en hoge tonen. U kunt derhalve het geluid
in overeenstemming met de bron en het systeem naar wens
instellen.
Voldiscrete stroomsterkte-terugkoppelingsversterker
Voorversterker en hoofdversterker zijn uitgerust met het
stroomsterkte-terugkoppelingscircuit van Marantz met discrete
componenten. Het is een ultrasnelle versterker die gebruik maakt
van de allernieuwste technologie ontwikkeld voor topklasse
versterkers.
HDAM-SA3 technologie
Het V/I-omvormercircuit, dat een essentieel onderdeel is van de
stroomsterkte-terugkoppelingsvoorversterker en hoofdversterker,
is identiek met dat van de HDAM-SA3 versterkermodule die werd
ontwikkeld voor hogere modellen zoals de PM-11S2.
CD-direct-bufferversterker
Een speciale CD-ingangsbufferversterker bevindt zich ter hoogte
van de CD-ingangsaansluitingen. Dit is een snelle bufferversterker
vervaardigd uit discrete componenten die interferentie tussen
het linker- en rechterkanaal voorkomt en de signalen zeer
natuurgetrouw naar de voorversterker kan sturen.
Verbeterde moment-stroomsterkte
Het is algemeen bekend dat de geluidskwaliteit kan verschillen
tussen versterkers met dezelfde specifi caties. Marantz meent
dat dit wordt veroorzaakt door verschillen in het aandrijfvermogen
naar de luidsprekers. De hoofdversterker van dit apparaat kan
tijdelijk een stroomsterkte van 25 A of meer doorvoeren en zo de
luidsprekers met hoog vermogen aandrijven.
Ontwerp met korte vermogenslijn
Om de moment-stroomsterkte te verhogen, zijn voedingscircuit
en uitgangsblok van het hoofdversterkergedeelte verbonden door
een korte vermogenslijn. Dit maakt de hogestroomsterktelijn
zo kort mogelijk en behoudt de symmetrie tussen linker- en
rechterkanaal.
Voldiscrete PHONO-equalizer met stroomsterkte-
terugkoppeling
Als versterker met PHONO-equalizer voor MM-cartridges is een
PHONO-equalizer met stroomsterkte-terugkoppeling van dezelfde
kwaliteit als die van het duurdere model PM-11S2 toegepast.
Dubbel afgeschermde toroidal-transformator
Het apparaat is uitgerust met een toroidal-
vermogenstransformator die trillingen en magnetische lekfl ux
minimaliseert. Een dubbele afscherming, met kernring en kort-
ring, beperkt lekfl ux die de geluidskwaliteit beïnvloedt.
Blockcondensator met hoge capaciteit
Een condensator met hoge capaciteit van 18.000 μF maakt
deel uit van het voedingscircuit van de hoofdversterker. De
voorversterker is uitgerust met een condensator van 4.700 μF.
