IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet
(230Va.c.).
3. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be
replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest Imarflex Authorized
Service Center.
5. Do not allow the cord to touch the hot surface of the unit.
6. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the unit in water.
7. Do not place the unit near gas stove, electric stove or in a heated oven.
8. Put the unit on a flat surfaced; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
9. Keep curtains, furniture, flammable materials, etc. away from the unit and from the
convenience outlet where the unit is plugged in.
10. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
11. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for
their safety.
12. Do not use the unit near tubs, basins or other vessels containing water.
13. Do not use the unit while bathing.
14. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.
15. Do not use attachment not recommended by the manufacturer.
16. Never block the air inlet and concentrator of the dryer.
17. Do not insert any object into any openings.
18. Try heat settings on back of hand before using.
19. Use warm airflow for children; remember: a child’s skin and scalp are sensitive to heat.
20. For household use only; not intended for any business purposes.
21. Save this instruction for future reference.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE:
1. Towel dry hair to remove excess moisture and to shorten drying time.
2. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
3. Slide up the Spe Selector Switch (LOW/HIGH) (left side).ed
4. Slide up the Heat Selector Switch (right side).
5. Press and hold Cool Button Switch for Cool Air Flow.
NOTE: Use low heat when using the Cool Button.
6. Part hair into sections; blow dry section by section.
7. Switch the ionizer button ON if desired.
8. Unplug after use.
NOTE:
Air Concentrator is replaceable with Diffuser. Diffuser is use to dry curly hair to avoid
it from getting straight. This unit is equipped with a safety thermostat, to protect from
possible overheating. The unit will automatically turn OFF when the motor gets hot, switch
the unit OFF and let it cool for several minutes before using again.
GENERAL STYLING TIPS
1. It is important to maintain a good haircut.
2. Use a good shampoo, rinse thoroughly, and use a conditioner to give a smooth and healthy
finish to your hair. Towel dry to remove excess moisture. A mousse or styling product may
then be applied to your hair before the drying and styling process.
3. Using the dryer together with the styling brush, direct the hot air through one section of hair
at a time. Move the airflow steadily across the section
allowing the hot air to pass through the hair. Continue on all sections of the hair, dry and style
the hair to desired hairstyle.
4. Do not keep the dryer aimed at the scalp, excessive heat can damage the scalp.
5. For a smooth, sleek style that follows contours of head or neck, brush dry in natural direction
of the hair. For fuller styles with volume, brush against the natural direction.
6. Direct the airflow at the hair, not the scalp, in the same way that wind blows through the hair.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
1. Switch OFF the unit. Unplug and wait to cool down before cleaning.
2. Wipe the Body and Air Inlet of the unit with damp cloth. Do not use abrasive materials to avoid
scratches.
3. Air Concentrator and Diffuser are washable with soap and water.
4. Regularly clean the air exhaust and air inlet grills with soft brush.
5. Always remove hair that was left on the diffuser after use.
6. Do not leave the cord untied after every use.
