• Press Reset Buon: Reboot the

dashcam.

• Hold Reset Buon: When you

hear the startup music, it

means the dashcam is restored

to defaults.

Clean the windshield and

paste the electrostac ﬁlm

onto it.

Avoid introducing air bubble.

DO NOT paste the ﬁlm

repeatedly.

Install the dashcam onto the

center of the electrostac

ﬁlm. Connect the dashcam

with one end of the power

cord along the red line

shown in ﬁgure.

Connect the other end of

power cord to the car

charger and connect car

charger to cigaree lighter.

Adjust the surveillance

angle and the installaon is

completed.

Scan the QR code to download and

install HikDashcam app.

Add the dashcam to the app.

a. Run the HikDashcam app.

b. Tap Wi-Fi Connecon.

c. In Wi-Fi list, select the Wi-Fi SSID

of the target dashcam and enter

Wi-Fi password to build

connecon.

• You can set the parameters of the

dashcam.

• For iOS, you need to go to Wi-Fi

sengs of your phone to connect

to the Wi-Fi of dashcam.

Edit the dashcam password to

acvate it to avoid abnormal

recording aer connecng to Wi-Fi.

Dashcam Wi-Fi default parameters:

• Wi-Fi SSID: HIKVISION-F6-XXXX

(XXXX refers to the last four

characters of veriﬁcaon code.)

• Wi-Fi password: 1234567890

(please edit password aer logging in

for the ﬁrst me.)

Power On and Power Oﬀ

Power On: When you start up the engine, the dashcam powers on.

Power Oﬀ: When you turn oﬀ the engine, the dashcam powers oﬀ.

Recording

Two recording types are provided: Normal Reording and Emergency

Recording. Sound and mute recordings are selectable. Sound recording is set

as default. You can tap on the screen or turn oﬀ sound recoding in app.

Safety Instrucon

These instrucons are intended to ensure that users can use the

product correctly to avoid danger or property loss.

Cauons: Injury or equipment damage may occur if any of the

cauons are neglected.

• In the use of the dashcam, you must be in strict compliance with

the local laws and regulaons.

• Keep the user manual properly for future reference. See inial

connecon of dashcam in user manual.

• Purchase the TF card from legal channel. To ensure safe and

stable data transmission, it is recommended to use TF card of

Class 10 or above.

• Format the new TF card ﬁrst before using the card.

• To protect TF card from damage, shut down the dashcam before

installing and uninstalling TF card.

• If the dashcam is directly connected with the vehicle power

system, you are recommended to power oﬀ the dashcam when

the engine is oﬀ. Disconnect cigaree lighter to avoid insuﬃcient

voltage and abnormal startup. Reconnect cigaree lighter to

ensure dashcam work normally when you start the car again.

• Operang temperature is from -20 C to 70 C (-4 F to 158 F). To

protect the dashcam, DO NOT use it in high temperature, low

temperature, or high-humidity environment. Keep the dashcam

from rain and dust.

• The manual is subject to update. The funcons of dashcam may

vary according to diﬀerent models.

*The driving assistance funcon of the device only sends alarm or

warning to the driver and cannot replace the driver’s judgement

and operaon. With the device, you also should drive carefully to

avoid traﬃc accident or violaon. Pedestrian or object recognion

failure or recognion error may occur due to external factors. DO

NOT overly rely on the driving assistance funcon.

• The power mode of cigaree lighter may vary by diﬀerent vehicle

types. Some may be powered constantly. In this case, please

make sure that the dashcam stops aer you turn oﬀ the vehicle

engine. Otherwise, insuﬃcient voltage may occur to vehicle baery.

• Make sure you have connected the dashcam to power according to

Step 2 and Step 3 in Installaon secon.

Check the status of TF card, e.g. its format, its lifespan.

Change TF card if it is not well.

Make sure the protecve ﬁlm is peeled oﬀ.

Check whether the windshield or the lens of dashcam

is blurred.

Tap on the screen or turn on sound recording in

HikDashcam app.

Check whether the car charger is equipped with power

supply interface of 5 VDC, ≥ 2 A.

Mobile phone cannot

connect to dashcam.

Make sure HikDashcam app is installed.

Please reconnect dashcam to the App.

The mobile phone

cannot display

recordings.

It may be relevant with the player or system of the

phone. Please connect TF card to your computer and

display the recordings.

TF card is not

detected when you

connect dashcam to

computer with the

supplied power cord.

Dashcam does not support data transmission and the

supplied power cord is only for charging.

If you need to transfer data, please connect TF card

to your computer.

Wi-Fi connecon

takes a long me.

It may be caused by the interferrence of the

surrounding Wi-Fi signals. Please use the dashcam in

an environment of less interferrence.

Shut down unnecessary programs in your phone to

release some resources for HikDashcam app and

reconnect Wi-Fi.

Dashcam Wi-Fi

password is forgoen.

The default password is 1234567890. If you have

revisied the password, regain the password by the

following steps.

1. Hold the buon on dashcam unl the startup Reset

music is heard and the dashcam is restored to

defaults.

2. Go to Wi-Fi Connecon interface in HikDashcam

app.

3. Select Wi-Fi SSID and log in with default password

1234567890.
