Safety
⢠Theîradio should not be taken apart or modiďŹed. Never try to open theîcasing of theîradio.
Theîcasing houses dangerous current-carrying non-insulated components. Contact with
these can lead to ďŹre or electric shock.
⢠Do not cover theîradio. Adequate ventilation with aîdistance of at least 10 cm to surrounding
objects is necessary to prevent theîradio from becoming too warm.
⢠Theîradio must only be connected to aîstandard domestic 100â240îV, 50/60 Hz electrical supply.
⢠Make sure that theîpower socket that theîadaptor is connected to is easily accessible,
since this is theîonly way to completely disconnect theîproduct from theîelectrical system.
⢠Theîradio should be placed on aîstable, ďŹat surface.
⢠Never place any source of naked ďŹames (wax candles, tea lights, etc.) on or close to theîradio.
⢠Do not place theîradio in anîunstable position where there is aîrisk that it may fall into water or
other liquids. Do not place any objects containing liquid onto theîradio such as vases, drinks, etc.
⢠Do not place theîradio in constant sunlight or near naked ďŹames such as wood stoves,
lit candles, etc.
⢠Position theîradio where there is no risk of people tripping over theîmains lead of theîadaptor.
⢠Never subject theîradio to high temperatures, dust, heavy vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
⢠Do not abuse theîmains adaptor or its lead. Make sure that theîmains adaptor and its lead
do not come into contact with heat, sharp edges or is crushed in any way.
⢠Unplug theîmains adaptor from theîwall socket during thunderstorms or if theîradio is not to
be used for aîlong time.
⢠Theîstandby switch on theîradio does not completely disconnect it from theîmains. To completely
disconnect theîradio from theîmains, theîmains adaptor must be unplugged from theîwall socket.
⢠Protect your hearing. Listening on high volume for prolonged periods can lead to permanent
hearing loss.
⢠Do not use theîradio if it, theîmains lead or adaptor is damaged in any way.
⢠Theîradio should only be repaired by qualiďŹed service personnel.
⢠It is completely normal for theîradio to become warm during use.
⢠Do not insert any foreign objects into theîopenings in theîradio. Risk of electric shock.
⢠Do not let children play with theîradio.
