MOUNTING CAMERA TO ACT BASEPLA TE
Remove Camera Plate from baseplate by loosening the ratcheting lever and sliding
the Camera Plate out the back end of the baseplate. Push up camera Safety Latch to
unlock the Camera Plate. Screw camera to Camera Plate.
Slide Camera Plate back into baseplate. Making sure to push in the Safety Latch release.
The ACT Recoil System is designed to make it easier to keep your rig balanced
when changing lenses. Instead of remounting the camera on the baseplate, simply
slide the Camera Plate forward or back by using the ratcheting lever
For shorter lenses, slide the Camera Plate forward.
For longer lenses, slide the Camera Plate back.
Attach rods to ACT Baseplate by loosening
ratcheting lever, sliding rods into place
and then re-tighten lever.
Adjust rod height by loosening both front
allen screws equally. Slide rods up or down
for desired position and re-lock allen screws.
Mount your ACT
Camera Plate or ACT
Baseplate diretly to an
ACT Mounting Plate
for instant tripod
readiness.
Loosen the red lever
and rotate handle to
adjust position.
