SAFETY INFORMATION:

1. Create an obstacle-free site to reduce

injury. Maintain a minimum distance of 6.5

feet (2 m) from structures or obstructions

(examples: a fence, buildings,

garages,houses, low hanging branches,

tree stumps/roots, large rocks, bricks,

concrete, laundry lines, or electrical wires.

2. Choose a level location for the equipment

to reduce the likelihood of the play set

tip-ping over and loose ll surfacing

materials from washing away during

heavy rains.

3. Fall Height: 17 inches. Do not install

product or surfacing material over concrete,

asphalt, packed earth, grass, carpet or any

other hard surface. Playground equipment

for home use SHOULD NOT BE USED

indoors without installed fall protection. A

fall onto a hard surface can result in serious

injury. Playground Surfacing Materials

guidelines for acceptable fall protection are

included In this instruction sheet (see table

X3.1). To maintain the appropriate level of

loose ll material, use containment, such as

digging out around the perimeter and/or

lining it with landscaping edging.

Installations of rubber tiles or poured-in-

place surfaces (other than loose-ll

materials) generally require a professional

and are not “do- it- yourself”projects.

4. Locate bare metal platforms and slides

(metal, plastic or otherwise) out of direct

sun light to reduce the likelihood of serious

burns. A slide that faces north will receive

the least direct sunlight.

5. Provide enough room so that children can

use equipment safely (example: for

structures with multiple activities, a slide

should not exit in front of a swing).

6. Separate active and quiet activities from

each other (examples: locate sandboxes

away from swings or use a guardrail barrier

to separate the sandbox from the

movement of the swings).

WARNING: BURN HAZARD

•Always check the temperature of the

product before letting your children

play on it.

•Remember that the product may cause

burns if left in direct sunlight.

•Always be aware of the sun and

weather conditions, and do not

assume that the equipment is safe

because the air temperature is not

very high.

When tightening any bolts or screws,

ensure the parts that are being secured

leave a gap of less than 3/16” (4.76 mm) to

eliminate safety concerns.
