Introduction

Thank you for purchasing a StarTech.com DVI Signal

Extender. This product allows you to boost and

extend the length of DVI signals over a copper based

DVI cable by 12 meters at 1080p / UXGA (24 meters

in total extension).

Before You Begin

System Requirements

• A DVI video Source

• Input and Output DVI cables

• A display with at least 1 DVI input

Basic Setup

Connecting the video source to the extender:

Connect the DVI cable running from your video

source to the DVI INPUT socket.

Connecting the extender to the display:

Insert a standard DVI cable into the DVI OUTPUT

port. Insert the opposite end of the cable into the DVI

input on your video display (PC Monitor, projector,

LCD or PDP display unit).

Powering the extender:

Connect the tip on the power adapter (provided) to

the port marked on the video extender.DC/5V 2A

Connect the opposite end to a wall outlet or other

suitable power source.

The red light located above the power input will illumi-

nate, indicating that your extender is functioning.
