ASSEMBLY
Included with your KYTEs are two rear feet
and four Pozi 2 screws. These are required
to install the rear foot on each speaker (you
will need a PZ2/Pozi 2 screwdriver). Simply
hand tighten two screws through each of the
feet into the corresponding threaded holes
on the back of the speaker (as shown in the
diagram). To ensure the foot is aligned correctly,
place the speaker with foot aached on a ïŹ‚at
surface before fully tightening to ensure the
speaker will sit level in its ïŹnal position.
IMPORTANT: NEVER place the speaker
face down when ïŹî˜žing the feet to
avoid damage to the drive units.
An optional metal base is available for
purchase, which will offer greater compatibility
with a wide range of third party loudspeaker
stands (see www.rega.co.uk for details).
CONNECTION
Ensure the colour terminals Red (+) and Black
(-) are connected to the correct terminals at
both loudspeaker and ampliïŹer binding posts.
We recommend using good quality loudspeaker
cable such as the Rega ‘Duet’. Always use the
same length speaker cable to each loudspeaker.
POSITIONING
The KYTEs can be used on stands, a sturdy
shelf or ïŹ‚at surface. Imaging and bass response
can be tuned by adjusting the distance of
the speaker from the rear and side walls. As
with all loudspeakers, this will be dependant
on the size of room, ïŹ‚ooring and furnishings
therefore some simple experiments trying
different distances will help optimise the
performance to your surroundings. In general
more bass is produced if the cabinet is
positioned closer to a structural wall.
REPLACING THE DRIVE
UNITS
In the unlikely event a drive unit needs to be
replaced it is necessary to remove the front
fascia label to access the drive unit ïŹxing
screws. A new adhesive front panel label will
be supplied as standard with any replacement
units. To remove the front panel label, we
recommend accessing via the unit that
requires replacement to prevent damage to
the phenolic cabinet. We recommend that any
servicing is carried out via your Rega dealer.

MONTAGE
Deux pieds arriĂšre et quatre vis Pozidriv 2
sont fournis avec vos enceintes Kyte. Les
vis servent à installer les pieds à l’arriùre
de chaque enceinte (vous aurez besoin d’un
tournevis PZ2 / Pozidriv 2). Serrez Ă  la main
les vis dans les trous correspondants de
chaque pied et à l’arriùre de l’enceinte (comme
indiquĂ© sur l’illustration). Pour vĂ©riïŹer que
le pied est bien alignĂ©, posez l’enceinte sur
une surface plane pour vĂ©riïŹer qu’elle est de
niveau avant de serrer complĂštement les vis.
IMPORTANT: Ne JAMAIS poser l’enceinte
face vers le bas lors de la pose du pied pour
Ă©viter d’endommager les haut-parleurs.
Une base métallique est disponible en option.
Elle offre une meilleure compatibilité avec
une vaste gamme de supports d’enceintes
disponibles sur le marché (voir www.
rega.co.uk pour plus d’informations).
RACCORDEMENT
VĂ©riïŹez que les bornes Rouge (+) et Noire (-)
sont connectées aux bornes correspondantes
des enceintes et de l’ampliïŹcateur. Nous
vous recommandons d’utiliser un cñble
de bonne qualitĂ©, comme le «Duet» de
Rega. Utilisez toujours la mĂȘme longueur
de cĂąble pour chaque enceinte.
POSITIONNEMENT
Les enceintes KYTE peuvent ĂȘtre posĂ©es
sur un support, une Ă©tagĂšre solide ou une
surface plane. Les graves et le ressenti spatial
peuvent ĂȘtre ajustĂ©s en modiïŹant la distance
entre l’enceinte et les murs à l’arriùre et
sur les cĂŽtĂ©s. Comme avec n’importe quelle
enceinte, ceci dépend de la taille de la piÚce,
du type de revĂȘtement de sol et des meubles.
Expérimenter différentes distances va donc
vous aider Ă  optimiser la performance de
vos enceintes dans votre environnement. En
général, le haut-parleur produit plus de basses
s’il est placĂ© Ă  proximitĂ© d’un mur porteur.
REMPLACEMENT DES
HAUTPARLEURS
Si un haut-parleur doit ĂȘtre remplacĂ©, il est
nĂ©cessaire de retirer l’étiquee sur le panneau
avant pour accĂ©der aux vis. Une Ă©tiquee
de remplacement sera fournie avec toute
unitĂ© de rechange. Pour retirer l’étiquee
du panneau avant, il est recommandĂ© d’y
accĂ©der par l’unitĂ© Ă  remplacer pour Ă©viter
d’endommager le boitier phĂ©nolique. Nous
recommandons que la maintenance soit
effectuée par votre revendeur agréé Rega.
