Installation Instructions

Pedestal Lavatory
Risk of personal injury or product damage.
Handle with care. Vitreous china can break or
chip if the product is handled carelessly.
CAUTION
Prior to installation, unpack the new lavatory and
inspect for damage. Return the lavatory to its
protective carton until you are ready to install it.
These instructions are for installing the lavatory to
wood frame construction. For other installations,
supply suitable bracing and fastening devices of
sufïŹcient size and strength.
The walls and ïŹoor must be square, plumb, and
level.
Rough-in
Mark the centerline on the ïŹoor.
Position the pedestal on the ïŹoor centerline.
Carefully set the lavatory on the pedestal.
Move the pedestal as required to ensure proper ïŹt
in the desired location.
Level the lavatory.
NOTE: The lavatory must be supported by the
pedestal.
Drill two 1/4" (6.4mm) hanger bolt holes at the
marks on the wall.
Mount hanger bolts to the wall so approximately
1-1/4" (3.2cm) of each bolt remains exposed.
NOTE: Other fastening devices of sufïŹcient size
and strength may also be used.
Install the faucet and drain to the lavatory
according to the manufacturerâs instructions.
NOTE: Do not fully tighten slip-joint drain
connections at this time.
Check the lavatory placement.
Mark the center of each anchoring hole on the
wall.
Carefully remove the lavatory from the pedestal.
Then remove the pedestal from the area.

Installation Instructions
Pedestal Lavatory
1. WARRANTY:
Subject to the limitations expressed herein, Seller
warrants to the original Buyer that parts of
products manufactured by Seller (âProducts)â shall
be free from defects in material and workmanship
during the original installation from the date of sale
for the duration set forth in the below table
(âWarranty Periodâ). This warranty is void for (a)
improper storage, use or installation, (b) accident,
damage, abuse or misuse, or (c) acts of God. This
warranty does not apply to damage caused by (a)
exposure to chemicals or minerals, (e) use of
abrasive cleaners, or (f) use of in-tank cleaners.

2. REMEDIES:
If during the Warranty Period, Sellerâs inspection of
Products conïŹrms that any part is defective in
materials or workmanship, Seller shall, at its
option, repair, replace or refund the defective part.
Seller makes NO ADDITIONAL ALLOWANCE FOR
THE LABOR OR EXPENSE OF DE-INSTALLATION,
RE-INSTALLATION OR TRANSPORTATION COST
INCIDENTAL TO REPAIRING OR REPLACING THE
DEFECTIVE PART OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM
SAME. SELLER HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND
COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL BUILDING CODES.
Seller may assist Buyer in selection decisions by
providing information regarding Products.
However, Buyer acknowledges that Buyer
ultimately chooses the productâs suitability for
Buyerâs use. Any recommendation made by Seller
concerning the use, design, application or
operation of the Products shall not be construed as
representations or warranties, expressed or
implied. Failure by Seller to make
recommendations or give advice to Buyer shall not
impose any liability upon Seller.
3. BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Buyer must provide proof of purchase - save sales
receipt. Buyer must make claim within the
Warranty Period outlined above.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
The warranty provided above is strictly limited to
its terms and is in lieu of all other warranties
expressed, implied and statutory. Buyer expressly
agrees that the sole and exclusive remedy for
breach of warranty shall be the remedies set forth
above. BUYER FURTHER SPECIFICALLY
UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT, SELLER
DISCLAIMS AND WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR
INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ATTRIBUTED TO THE
PRODUCT DEFECT OR THE REPAIR OR EXCHANGE
OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. UNDER NO
CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR
LOSS OF ANTICIPATED PROFITS.
Note: This warranty gives you speciïŹc rights.
Some states provide additional rights that vary
from state to state or province to province. This
warranty does not affect such statutory rights.

Do not overtighten the nuts. Overtightening may
cause damage to the product.
CAUTION
Risk of product damage.
Do not use strong abrasive cleaners, as they will
scratch and dull the surface.
CAUTION
Set the lavatory on the pedestal so the hanger
bolts extend through the lavatory holes.
Level the lavatory.
Install the nuts and washers, and tighten until snug.
Connect and tighten the trap. Connect the hot and
cold water supplies to the faucet.
To keep your lavatory looking new, make sure you
rinse it out thoroughly after each use.
Stubborn stains, paint, or tar can be removed with
turpentine or paint thinner.

ATTENTION
Avant de procéder à l'installation, déballez votre
nouveau lavabo et examinez-le aïŹn de vĂ©riïŹer sâil a
été endommagé. Replacez le lavabo dans la boßte de
carton protectrice jusquâau moment de lâinstallation.
Ces instructions servent Ă installer le lavabo Ă une
charpente en bois. Pour les autres types dâinstallation,
vous devez vous procurer des dispositifs de
renforcement et de ïŹxation adĂ©quats, de taille et de
force sufïŹsantes.
Les murs et le plancher doivent ĂȘtre droits, d'aplomb
et de niveau.

Percez deux trous de 6,4 mm (1/4 po) pour les
vis-boulons dans le mur, Ă lâendroit oĂč vous avez
tracé les marques.
Installez les vis-boulons dans le mur de maniĂšre Ă
ce que chacun dĂ©passe dâenviron 3,2 cm (1-1/4 po).
REMARQUE : Il est Ă©galement possible dâutilicer
dâautres disponsitifs de ïŹxation de taille et de force
sufïŹsantes.
Installez le robinet et lâoriïŹce dâĂ©vacuation sur le
lavabo conformément aux instructions du fabricant.
REMARQUE : Ne serrez pas complĂštement les
raccords coulissants de lâoriïŹce dâĂ©vacuation pour
le moment.

Tracez une ligne centrale sur le plancher.
Positionnez la colonne en lâalignant avec la ligne
centrale du plancher.
Installez soigneusement le lavabo sur la colonne.
DĂ©placez la colonne au besoin aïŹn de vous assurer
que lâinstallation est appropriĂ©e Ă lâemplacement
désiré.
Mettez le lavabo de niveau.
REMARQUE : Le lavabo doit ĂȘtre soutenu par la
colonne.
VĂ©riïŹez lâemplacement dâinstallation du lavabo.
Marquez le centre de chaque trou dâancrage sur le
mur.
Retirez soigneusement le lavabo de la colonne.
Retirez la colonne de lâemplacement oĂč le lavabo
sera installé.
