1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions
β’ Indoor use only.
β’ Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.
β’ Do not connect to an appliance with a load exceeding the capacity of the timer (see Technical
Specifications).
β’ Do not use a timer to control an appliance containing a heating element (cooking appliance, heater, ironβ¦).
β’ Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
β’ Always make sure the plug of the connected appliance is fully inserted into the timer.
β’ Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the
dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
3. Operation
3.1 Setting the day and time
1. Unplug the timer from the outlet.
2. SET Press and hold until the day flashes.

ξ to change the day. Press to confirm. The hour digit flashes. SET

ξ ξ to change the hour. To change it more quickly, press and hold ξξ

The minutes digit flashes.

Time Format (AM/PM or 24 hour)
To change the time format, press and hold until the display changes. CLOCK
3.2 Daylight savings time function
1. CLOCK Press and ξ

ξ at the same time. The time display automatically adds one hour and "S" is shown on
the LCD.
2. CLOCK Press and ξ

ξ again to exit daylight savings time.
3.3 Setting a program
1. Unplug the timer from the outlet.
2. With the LCD in normal time display, press ξ
ξξ
ξ once to change to program setting display. "1ON" will be
shown on the lower left corner of the LCD:
o "1" indicates the program group number (program group is from 1 to 14)
o "ON" indicates power on time.
o "OFF" indicates power off time

ξ to set the program group and on/off status. Press to confirm. SET

3.4 Countdown timer
1. Unplug the timer from the outlet.
2. With the LCD in normal time display, press ξ
ξξ
ξ to change to countdown setting display. d ON (or OFF)β will
be shown on the lower left corner of the LCD.
o "d" indicates the program is in countdown mode
o "ON" the appliance will be switched on after countdown
o "OFF" the appliance will be switched off after countdown
3. SET Press until the on/off display flashes.

ξ to set the hours. Press to confirm. SET
6. SET Repeat this step for minutes and seconds. Press to confirm.
7. Connect the timer to an outlet and set the timer to AUTO status in order to start /stop the countdown
functions.
8. CD Press once to start the countdown function. "d ON" (or "d OFF") flashes to indicate countdown is in
progress. Press again to stop the countdown function. CD

β’ When done, press to display the clock. The clock displays automatically after 15 seconds. CLOCK
3.5 Random function
The random function turns appliances on and off at irregular intervals.
1. Plug the timer into a wall socket and set the program to AUTO status.
2. RND Press . "r OFF" flashes. Power will be off for 26 to 42 minutes. The mode automatically changes to "r
ON", the power will be on for 10 to 26 minutes.
3. RND Press again to stop the random function.
3.6 Override function
You can override the program presets in the timer.
Press to set the timer. The options are: ON/OFF
β’ AUTO appliance will be switched on or off according to settings
β’ ON appliance is always on
β’ OFF appliance is always ff
3.7 Resetting the timer
To reset the timer, press with a needle or point. This will reset the time and clear all timer program RESET
settings.
3.8 Connecting an appliance to the timer
When the programs are set:
1. Switch off your electrical appliance.
2. Plug your appliance into the timer socket.
3. Plug the timer to the power outlet.
4. Switch on your appliance. The appliance will then be turned on/off according to your settings.
4. Cleaning and Maintenance
β’ Remove the timer from the mains before cleaning.
β’ Wipe with a dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or any liquid.
5. Battery
β’ This device contains an internal rechargeable battery. When the device is end-of-life, it must be
disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
β’ Keep batteries away from children.
β’ Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as they may explode.
