1. POWER SWITCH
Turns your ampliļ¬ er on
and oļ¬ .
2. OUTPUT LEVEL
Adjusts the output power
level. At power the high
output will be the maximum
available power level. At
mid power the output of the
ampliļ¬ er is set for quieter
performance use and
recording (ORI20: approx.
3W / ORI50: approx. 10W).
At low power the output
will be reduced for home
pracī¾ ce (ORI20: approx.
0.5W / ORI50: approx. 5W).
3. POWER LIGHT
When the unit is switched on
this light will illuminate.
4. PRESENCE
Adjusts the response of the
power ampliļ¬ er increasing
the higher frequencies of
your sound.
5. MASTER VOLUME
Adjusts output volume. At
higher seī¾® ngs, the power
ampliļ¬ er can be overdriven,
giving a classic overdrive
sound.
6. TREBLE
Controls the higher
frequency of your sound.
7. MIDDLE
Controls the middle
frequency of your sound.
8. BASS
Controls the lower
frequency of your sound.
9. TILT
Adjusts the voice of your
Origin from normal high to
treble at the input stage.
10. GAIN
Controls the amount of
pre-amp gain applied to
your sound, the more gain
the more distorī¾ on. Pulling
the control knob acī¾ vates
a gain boost increasing the
level of drive in the pre-amp.
This can be operated using a
2-way foot switch
(PEDL-90016).

IMPORTANT SET UP INFORMATION:
1. When using your Origin
with an extension speaker
cabinet(s), make sure that
the speaker cabinet(s) is
connected to the correct
loudspeaker jack socket(s).
See secī¾ ons 3.1, 3.2 and
3.3 for speciļ¬ c informaī¾ on.
Warning: failure to do the
above may damage your
ampliļ¬ er. When connecī¾ ng
a speaker cabinet make sure
that you use a proper speaker
cable. Never use a screened
(shielded) guitar cable for
this purpose.
Warning: Before going any
further, make sure that your
ampliļ¬ er is compaī¾ ble with
your mains electricity supply.
If you have any doubt, please
seek help from a qualiļ¬ ed
technician ā your Marshall
dealer can help you with this.
MAINS INPUT & FUSE:
The speciļ¬ c mains input
voltage raī¾ ng that
your ampliļ¬ er has been
manufactured for is indicated
on the rear panel. Your
ampliļ¬ er is provided with a
detachable mains (power)
lead, which should be
connected to the mains input
socket on the rear panel. The
correct value and type of
mains fuse is speciļ¬ ed on the
rear panel.
2. Ensure that the power
switch is set to the oļ¬
posiī¾ on (front panel
funcī¾ on 2.1).
3. Connect the supplied mains
(power) lead into the mains
input on the rear panel ļ¬ rst
and then into an electricity
outlet.
4. Ensure that the volume
controls on the front panel
are set to zero.
5. Plug your guitar into the
input jack socket on the
front panel.
6. Select either high, mid or
low power (front panel
funcī¾ on 2.2).
7. Turn the front panel switch
on and wait a couple of
minutes.
8. Turn the volume up to your
preferred level and your
ampliļ¬ er is ready to play.

Nunca se debe puentear el

INFORMACIĆN IMPORTANTE DE
CONFIGURACIĆN:
1. Cuando uī¾ lices el Origin
con pantallas de extensiĆ³n,
asegĆŗrate de que se conecten
a la toma o tomas jack de
altavoces. Consulta las
secciones 3.1, 3.2 y 3.3
para obtener informaciĆ³n
detallada.
Advertencia: El incumpli-
miento de lo anterior
puede provocar daƱos en el
ampliļ¬ cador. Cuando uī¾ lices
una pantalla de altavoces,
asegĆŗrate de emplear un cable
de altavoz adecuado. Nunca
uī¾ lices un cable de guitarra
apantallado para este ļ¬ n.
Advertencia: Antes de
conī¾ nuar, asegĆŗrate de que el
ampliļ¬ cador sea compaī¾ ble con
la alimentaciĆ³n de corriente. En
caso de duda, acude a un tƩcnico

ENTRADA DE CORRIENTE Y FUSIBLE:
En el panel trasero se indica
la tensiĆ³n de entrada de
corriente especĆļ¬ ca para la que
se p2-ha fabricado el ampliļ¬ cador.
El ampliļ¬ cador se facilita
con un cable de corriente
(alimentaciĆ³n) extraĆble que
se debe enchufar a la toma de
entrada de corriente del panel
trasero. En el panel trasero se
especiļ¬ ca el valor correcto y el
ī¾ po del fusible de corriente.
2. AsegĆŗrate de que el
interruptor de encendido
se encuentre en la posiciĆ³n
de apagado (funciĆ³n 2.1 del
panel delantero).
3. Conecta el cable de corriente
(alimentaciĆ³n) suministrado
a la entrada de corriente del
panel trasero en primer lugar
y, a conī¾ nuaciĆ³n, a la toma de
corriente.
4. AsegĆŗrate de que los
controles de volumen del
panel delantero estƩn
ajustados inicialmente a cero.
5. Enchufa la guitarra a la toma
de entrada jack del panel
delantero.
6. Selecciona high, mid o low
para la potencia de salida
(funciĆ³n 2.2 del panel
delantero).
7. Enciende el interruptor del
panel delantero y espera un
par de minutos.
8. Sube el volumen hasta el nivel
deseado. El ampliļ¬ cador ya
estarĆ” listo para su uso.

Heimgebrauch reduziert
(ORI20: ca. 0,5 W / ORI50:

Klangbild, je mehr Gain, desto
mehr Verzerrung. Wenn Sie
den Regler herausziehen,
wird eine Gain-VerstƤrkung
akī¾ viert, die die LautstƤrke
des VorverstƤrkers erhƶht.

wurde, ist auf der RĆ¼ckseite
angegeben. Der VerstƤrker
wird mit einem abnehmbaren
Netzkabel geliefert, das an
die Netzeingangsbuchse auf
der RĆ¼ckseite anzuschlieĆen
ist. Der korrekte Wert und
das korrekte Modell der
Netzsicherung sind auf der
RĆ¼ckseite angegeben.
Versuchen Sie niemals, die
Sicherung zu Ć¼berbrĆ¼cken
Sie beim AnschlieĆen von
Lautsprecherboxen darauf,
dass Sie ein geeignetes
Lautsprecherkabel verwenden.
Verwenden Sie zu diesem
Zweck niemals ein geschirmtes
Gitarrenkabel.
2. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der
Netzschalter auf āOļ¬ ā (Aus)
steht (Funkī¾ on Vorderseite
Nr. 2.1).
3. Verbinden Sie das im
Lieferumfang enthaltene
Netzkabel zuerst mit dem
MAINS INPUT-Anschluss
auf der RĆ¼ckseite und
anschlieĆend mit einer
Netzsteckdose.
4. Achten Sie darauf, dass die
LautstƤrkeregler (VOLUME)
an der Vorderseite auf Null
gestellt sind.
5. SchlieĆen Sie Ihre Gitarre an
den INPUT-Anschluss auf der
Frontplaī e an.
6.
WƤhlen Sie entweder high, mid
oder Leistung (Funkī¾ on low
Vorderseite Nr. 2.2).
7. Schalten Sie den Netzschalter
auf der Vorderseite ein und
warten Sie einige Minuten.
8. Stellen Sie die LautstƤrke
wie gewĆ¼nscht ein und Ihr
VerstƤrker ist spielbereit.
TRANSPORT IHRER GERĆTE:
Vor dem Transport ist
sicherzustellen, dass der
VerstƤrker ausgeschaltet
und nicht ans Stromnetz
angeschlossen ist und dass die
enīæ ernbaren Kabel nicht an die
GerƤte angeschlossen sind.
