Battery installation

1. Slide open the battery compartment lid from the back of the unit.

2. Insert two AA A (or UM-4) size alkaline batteries with correct polarity as

indicated.

3. Replace the batter y compartment lid.

How to use the alcohol tester

Warm up

1. Press and hold the power button for 1 second, the LCD display will turn on with

one beep sound.

2. The @ready@ symbol will ﬂ ash for 15-20 seconds that indicate

the tester is in warm-up mode.

DISPLAY ALCOHOL BREATH TESTER

Note:

* If warm-up is defeated, the tester will be turned off automatically, you can repress

the power button and try again.

* It always has a large number of gas & impurity absorbed on the surface of the

alcohol sensor, when taking the tester out of the package for the ﬁ rst time, or if it

hasn‘t been in use for a long while, you need to clean and warm the sensor up.

Test alcohol concentration

1. When warm-up is succeed, the Test... symbol will be displayed that indicate the

tester is in testing mode.

2. Blow into the breath pipe for 3-5 seconds continuous.

3. The test result is viewable on the LCD display.
