YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Electrical appliances may expose people to
hazards that can cause severe injury as well
as death. The use of electrical products may
create hazards that include, but are not limited
to, injury, fire, electrical shock and electrical
system damage. These instructions are intended
to provide you with the information you need to
use the product and to avoid such hazards.
When using electrical appliances, basic
precautions should always be followed to
reduce risk of fire, electric shock, and injury
to persons including the following:
1. Warning โ€“ Read all instructions before using
this heater.
2. Warning โ€“ This heater is hot when in use.
To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch
hot surfaces. If, provided, use handles
when moving this heater. Keep combustible
materials, such as furniture, pillows,
bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at
least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the
heater and keep them away from the sides
and rear.
3. Warning โ€“ Extreme caution is necessary
when any heater is used by or near children
or invalids, and whenever the heater is left
operating and unattended.
4. Warning โ€“ Always unplug heater when not
in use.
5. Warning โ€“ Do not operate any heater with
a damaged cord or plug or after the heater
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged
in any manner. Discard heater or return
heater to authorized service facility for
examination and/or repair.
6. Warning โ€“ For residential use only.
7. Warning โ€“ Do not use outdoors.
8. Warning โ€“ This heater is not intended for
use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar
indoor locations. Never locate heater where
it may fall into a bathtub or other water
container.
9. Warning โ€“ Do not run cord under carpeting.
Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners,
or similar coverings. Do not route cord
under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord
away from traffic area and where it will not
be tripped over.
10. Warning โ€“ Connect to properly grounded
outlets only.

11. Warning โ€“ Warning โ€“ This heater is for
use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug
as shown in Fig. 1, and an adapter, as
shown, is available for connecting three-
blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot
receptacles. The green grounding lug
extending from the adapter must be
connected to a permanent ground such as
a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter
should not be used if a three-slot grounded
receptacle is available. Do not circumvent
the safety features of the grounding-type
plug. Do not modify the power cord.
12. Warning โ€“ This heater draws 12.5 amps
during operation. To prevent overloading a
circuit, do not plug the heater into a circuit
that already has other appliances working.
13. Warning โ€“ It is normal for the plug to feel
warm to the touch; however, a loose fit
between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug
may cause overheating and distortion of
the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to
replace loose or worn outlet.
14. Warning โ€“ To disconnect the heater, first
turn off the product, then grip the plug body
and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by
the cord.
15. Warning โ€“ Do not insert or allow foreign
objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust
opening as this may cause an electric shock
or fire, or damage the heater.
16. Warning โ€“ To prevent a possible fire, do not
block air intakes or exhaust in any manner.
Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, or
where openings may become blocked.
17. Warning โ€“ A heater has hot and arcing or
sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas
where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids
are used or stored.
18. Warning โ€“ Use this heater only as
described in this manual. Any other use
not recommended by the manufacturer
may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to
persons.
19. Warning โ€“ Always plug heater directly into
a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an
extension cord or relocatable power tap
(outlet/power strip).
20. Warning โ€“ Never tamper with this product
or attempt to fix it. Any tampering with, or
modification of, this product can result in
serious injury, death, or fire. Risk of electric
shock. Do not open. No user serviceable
parts inside.
21. Warning โ€“ Do not remove product labels
that contain warnings or safety instruction.
22. Caution โ€“ The output of this heater may vary
and its temperature may become intense
enough to burn exposed skin. Use of this
heater is not recommended for persons with
reduced sensitivity to heat or an inability to
react to avoid burns.
23. Caution โ€“ Before cleaning, or storage, or
when not in use, turn the productโ€™s controls
to the OFF position and unplug the heater
from the electrical outlet and allow to cool.
24. Caution โ€“ Place the heater on a firm, level,
open surface free from obstructions and
at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from any
combustible materials. DO NOT use on an
unstable surface such as bedding or deep
carpeting. Be sure the heater is not in a
position where it may be tripped over by
small children or pets. The heaterโ€™s rubber
feet will hold it firmly in position.
25. Caution โ€“ If your home has aluminum
wiring have a licensed electrician check
your receptacleโ€™s connections. When
using a 1500 watt heater, aluminum wire
connections can cause a safety issue.

WHEEL BASE ASSEMBLY
NOTE: DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER WITHOUT THE WHEEL BASE
ASSEMBLIES IN PLACE. THE HEATER MUST ALWAYS BE USED IN AN
UPRIGHT POSITION. DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER IF THE WHEELS
ARE NOT ASSEMBLED CORRECTLY.
โ€ข Make sure the heater is unplugged and in the OFF position.
โ€ข Turn the heater upside down to install wheels.
โ€ข Push wheels into each wheel base pin, until you hear them snap into
position.
โ€ข While the heater is still upside-down, position the wheel base assemblies
between the end ๎€ns. Attach them to the U-bolts on the heater and
tighten using the wing nuts provided . (Fig. 2)
โ€ข Turn heater right-side up. Your heater is now ready for use.
If the controls are located at the bottom and the Honeywell logo
is upside down you have installed the wheels incorrectly (Fig. 3).
NOTE: These heaters contain oil that is permanently
sealed and will never require re๎€lling or replacing.
NOTE: THESE MODELS MAY TAKE UP TO SEVERAL MINUTES TO REACH NORMAL OPERATIONAL TEMPERATURE.
Be sure the heater is not in a position where it may be tripped over by children or pets.
ABOUT OIL FILLED TECHNOLOGY
Electric Radiators generate heat by passing warmed oil inside
sealed metal columns. Air passes over and through the large
surface area of the metal columns, circulating steady, long-term
heat throughout the room. This type of convection heating
technology is quiet and provides gradual, e๎‚ƒcient heating.
For best results, place heater on the ๎‚„oor to create
warming room convection and allow heater to run for
10-15 minutes to reach maximum heat output.
SET UP
Place the heater on a ๎€rm, level surface free from obstructions, and at least 3ft. (0.9m) away from any wall or combustible material.
Do NOT use on an unstable surface such as bedding or deep carpeting.
MOVING THE HEATER
โ€ข Turn o๎‚Ž the heater.
โ€ข Allow it to cool for ten minutes.
โ€ข This heater is equipped with a large luggage-style handle and easy glide caster wheels for your convenience.
โ€ข Unplug heater and simply push the handle up in an upright position and pull to move.
โ€ข Place the heater on a ๎€rm, level surface free from obstructions, and at least 3ft. (0.9m) away from any wall
or combustible material.
