INSTRUCTION MANUAL
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
โ€ข Disconnect the iron from the wall outlet for
filling in water or when you remove the water
after use.
โ€ข The iron must be used and resetted on a
stable surface.
โ€ข When placing the iron on its stand, ensure
that the surface on which the stand is placed
is stable.
โ€ข The iron can not be used if it has been
dropped, causing visible signs of damage
and leaking.
โ€ข This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
โ€ข This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
Children should not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
โ€ข Please read all instructions carefully
before using the appliance for the ๎ƒ€rst
time.
โ€ข Before connecting the appliance, check if
the voltage indicated on the rating plate
corresponds with the mains voltage in
your home.
โ€ข Do not use appliance for other than
intended use.
โ€ข The iron should always be switched off
before connecting or disconnecting from
the power supply. Do not pull on the
cord to disconnect the plug from the wall
socket.
โ€ข Do not use the iron when it is damaged
in any way. Do not operate the iron with a
damaged cord or plug. Do not replace the
power cord or any other parts by yourself.
Bring the iron to the nearest authorized
service facility or to the shop where you
bought it, as special tools are required for
repair
โ€ข When you have ๎ƒ€nished ironing or when
you only leave it for a short while:
- turn the steam control knob to position
โ€œOFFโ€,
- stand the iron upright,
- disconnect the iron from the wall outlet.
โ€ข Do not allow children to touch the iron or
the power cord when ironing.
โ€ข Do not immerse the iron or the cord into
water or any other liquid.
โ€ข Do not touch hot metal parts, hot water or
steam. These parts become hot and may
cause burns. Take care if you turn the iron
upside down: there may be hot water in
the tank.
โ€ข The plug and cord should not be allowed
to touch the hot sole plate. Let the iron
cool down completely before taking it
away.
โ€ข When placing the iron on its stand, ensure
that the surface on which the stand is
placed is stable.
โ€ข The iron is not to be used if it has been
dropped, if there are visible signs of
damage or if it is leaking.
โ€ข To avoid an overloaded circuit, do not
operate another high voltage appliance in
the same electric circuit.
โ€ข Never use an extension power cord set
that is not approved by a competent
authority. The cord should be rated for 10A
(Europe) or 15A (America), cords rated for
less amperage may overheat. The cord
should be arranged in a way that it cannot
be pulled or tripped over.
โ€ข The iron is for household use only.

lsilk low temperature
ll wool medium
temperature
lll Cotton - linen high temperature
โ€ข Always check ๎ƒ€rst to see whether a label
with ironing instructions is attached to
the article to be ironed. Follow these
instruction in all cases.
โ€ข First you should sort the laundry: Wool
with wool, Cotton with cotton etc. Start
ironing the fabrics requiring the lowest
temperature and progress to the higher
ones because the iron heats up quicker
than it cools down.
โ€ข If the fabric consist of various kinds of
๎ƒ€bres (e.g. cotton with polyester) you
must always select the lowest ironing
temperature of the composition of those
๎ƒ€bres.
STEAM IRONING
โ€ข Place the iron in a vertical position and
set the temperature control dial at the
minimum/low heat setting.
โ€ข Insert the plug into the socket, and then
turn the temperature control dial to the
โ€œhigh heatโ€ marking. The pilot light will
come on, indicating that the iron is heating
up.
โ€ข The correct temperature will be reached
when the pilot light has turned off. The
pilot light will be on and off from time
to time indicating that the selected
temperature is being maintained.
โ€ข Turn the steam knob to the required
position
โ€ข Steam is produced as soon as the iron in
held horizontally.
SPRAYING

clothes, as often as required.
Note: When using the water spray function,
ensure that there is enough water in the
water tank, and you may have to pump the
spray button serval times at first time you
use the iron in order to start the spraying
function.
SELECTING SHOT-STEAM AND
STEAM WHEN IRONING VERTICALLY

powerful burst of steam that can penetrate
the fabrics and smooth the most difficult and
tough creases. Wait for a few seconds before
pressing again.
By pressing the shot-steam button at
intervals you can also iron vertically (curtains,
hung garments, etc.)
Warning: the shot-steam function can only
be used at high temperatures. Stop the
emission when the plate temperature control
light comes on, than start ironing again only
after the light has gone off.
DRY IRONING
To iron without steam, follow the instructions
in section โ€œsteam ironingโ€, leaving the steam
selector on position โ€œOFFโ€.

CORDED IRONING
1. Set the 3-position switch to 3 position
2. Take the iron (with power unit)from the
stand for IRONING.
3. Replace the iron (with power unit )on the
stand after used and set the 3-position
switch to 2 position.
CORDLESS IRONING
1. Set the 3-position switch to 1 position.
2. Take the iron(without power unit)from the
stand.
3. Always replace the iron on the stand
during ironing intervals.
4. When the iron is correctly placed on the
stand, the pilot light (K) will illuminate.
5. If the soleplate needs heating up to the
set temperature, the indicator lamp (K) will
also be activated. As soon as the soleplate
has regained the set temperature, this light
will cut out.
6. We advise you to use the iron in the
corded position if you intend to steam
iron for a length of time and when you
apply numerous shots of steam,as this
can cause the soleplate to cool down
considerably.
ANTI-CALC SYSTEM
A special resin filter inside the water reservoir
softens the water and prevents scale build-up
in the plate. The resin filter is permanent and
does not need replacing.
Please note:
Use tap water only. Distilled and/
demineralised water makes the โ€œZero-Calcโ€
anti-calc system ineffective by altering its
physicochemical characteristics.
Do not use chemical additives, scented
substances or decalcifiers.
ANTI-DRIP:
This iron is equipped with a drip stop
function: the iron automatically stops
steaming when the temperature is too low
to prevent water from dripping out of the
soleplate.
With the anti-dripping system, you can
perfectly iron even the most delicate fabrics.
HOW TO CLEAN AND STORE
โ€ข After using, lift the iron with the ๎ƒ€lling hole
downwards to empty the remaining water
from the Water tank.
โ€ข Insert the plug into the socket, and set the
Temperature Control Dial to โ€œMAXโ€ for 1-2
minutes to evaporate the remaining water,
and then unplug the iron and let it cool
down .
โ€ข The iron should be ๎ƒ€xed in position 2
(storage position) after using.
