Introduction

ACTIVATION OF THE BATTERY
With safety circuitry, the s2 can activate exhausted Li-on batteries. S2 will test and activate the battery after it has
been installed before charging it. The LCD displays Er when a battery is detected as damaged, and s2 stops
charging it. S2 cannot activate such a damaged battery.
PREVENTING OVERTIME
The S2 comes with a ā€œOvertimeā€ advanced safety feature. The S2 will keep track of the elapsed charging time for
each battery slot and alert you if one of them surpasses 8 hours. The S2 will turn oļ¬€ the slot automatically and
display full charging bars to signify that the charging procedure is complete. This procedure decreases the risk
posed by low-quality batteries.
LIIFEPO4 BATTERY CHARGING
LIFePO4 batteries must be charged. After inserting an LFePO4 battery, simply press and hold the A or B button
for more than 5 seconds, and ā€œLFePO4ā€ will show on the LCD display to signify the activation of LiFePO4 charging
mode. To turn oļ¬€ the LiFePO4 charging mode, remove the battery by pressing and holding the A or B for more
than 5 seconds.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TURN ON THE POWER
Connect the power line to a conventional AC outlet or the automobile adapter to the vehicleā€™s cigarette lighter.
without installing batteries or touching the switch button, leave the charger on for 30 seconds. As the brightness of
the LCD panel decreases, it will activate the energy-saving mode. The screen will be awakened by any successful
operation.
INSERTION OF THE BATTERY
When a battery is ļ¬rst added, the s2 charger performs a quick test to determine the kind and status of Li-ion/Ni-
MH/NI-Cd batteries. The LCD will display ā€œErrā€ if the battery is inverted or faulty. When the test is over, the S2 will
switch to charging mode.
WORK INDEPENDENTLY
The S2 has two charging stations, each of which charges and monitors a device separately. Rechargeable
batteries of various chemistries and voltages can be charged at the same time using either A OR B SLOT.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The battery indicator bars will blink repeatedly while in charging mode to indicate the current charging process.
The charging current is 500mA by default; short press A or B 1s to choose between 500mA and 1000mA. To
switch between LIFePO4 and other battery charging modes, press A or B for 5 seconds.
COMPLETE THE CHARGING PROCESS
When the battery is fully charged, the S2 charger will automatically stop charging. or if the charging time exceeds
8 hours. When the batteries are fully charged, remove them and unplug the power.
