Safety at a Glance
By using this product, you signify that you have read, understand, and accept the terms and
conditions of this guideline and all instructions at www.dji.com/action-3. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY
PROVIDED IN AFTER-SALES SERVICE POLICIES AVAILABLE AT (HTTP://WWW.DJI.COM/SERVICE),
THE PRODUCT AND ALL MATERIALS AND CONTENT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE PRODUCT ARE
PROVIDED "AS IS" AND ON "AS AVAILABLE BASIS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY
KIND.
1. OSMOTM Action 3 contains magnets. Keep the camera away from magcards, IC cards, hard disks, RAM
chips, implantable medical devices such as pacemakers, and other devices to avoid interference.
2. Clean the battery, lens, lens protective cover, and the USB-C cover with a clean, dry cloth. Otherwise,
Osmo Action 3 may no longer be waterproof. All the holes on Osmo Action 3 have built-in waterproof
material. DO NOT poke the holes.
3. Follow the instructions in the user manual to make sure the battery is mounted, the USB-C cover is
closed, and the lens protective cover is properly tightened. Make sure Osmo Action 3 is dry before
removing the battery.
4. If the battery falls into water, put it in a safe and open area immediately. Maintain a safe distance
from the battery until it is completely dry. DO NOT use the battery again, and properly dispose of the
battery as described in point 30.
5. Put out a battery fire using water, sand, a fire blanket, or a dry powder fire extinguisher.
6. DO NOT use a non-DJI OSMO battery. DJI OSMO takes no responsibility for any damage caused by a
non-DJI OSMO battery. Purchase a new battery at www.dji.com.
7. DO NOT use or charge swollen, leaking, or damaged batteries. If the battery is abnormal, contact DJI
OSMO for further assistance.
8. The battery should be used at a temperature between -20° to 45° C (-4° to 113° F). Use of the battery
in an environment above 45° C (113° F) can lead to a fire or explosion. Before using the battery
in a low-temperature environment, it is recommended to charge the battery fully in a normal
temperature environment. Charging the battery at the ideal temperature can prolong battery life.
9. DO NOT use the battery in a strong electrostatic or electromagnetic environment. Otherwise, the
circuit board may malfunction.
10. DO NOT disassemble or pierce the battery in any way. Otherwise, the battery may leak, catch fire, or
explode.
11. DO NOT drop or strike the battery. DO NOT place heavy objects on the battery or charger.
12. Electrolytes in the battery are highly corrosive. If any electrolytes make contact with your skin or
eyes, immediately wash the affected area with fresh running water for at least 15 minutes, and then
see a doctor immediately.
13. DO NOT use the battery if it is dropped or impacted in any way.
14. DO NOT heat the battery. DO NOT use a hairdryer to dry the battery or put the battery in a
microwave oven or a pressurized container.
15. DO NOT place loose battery cells on any conductive surface, such as a metal table.
16. DO NOT manually short-circuit the battery.
17. DO NOT attach the battery to a power outlet or car charger socket directly. The battery must be
charged through Osmo Action 3 or the Osmo Action 3 Multifunctional Battery Case. DJI OSMO takes
no responsibility if the battery is charged using a non-DJI OSMO charger.
18. DO NOT charge the battery near flammable materials or on flammable surfaces such as carpet or
wood. DO NOT leave the battery unattended during charging.
19. DO NOT charge the battery immediately after use, as the battery temperature may be too high.
20. DO NOT charge the battery until it cools down to near room temperature. Charging the battery
outside the temperature range of 5° to 40° C (41° to 104° F) may lead to the battery leaking,
overheating, or long-term damage.
21. Disconnect the charger when not in use. Examine the charger regularly for damage to the cord, plug,
and other parts of the charger. DO NOT clean the charger with denatured alcohol or other flammable
solvents. DO NOT use a damaged charger.
22. Keep the battery out of the reach of children and animals.
23. DO NOT leave the battery near heat sources such as a furnace or heater. DO NOT leave the battery
inside of a vehicle on hot days. DO NOT store the battery in environments with a temperature higher
than 60° C (140° F). The ideal storage temperature is between 22° to 28° C (71.6° to 82.4° F).
24. Store the battery in a ventilated location and keep the battery dry.
25. Store the Osmo Action 3 in a ventilated place and keep the battery dry to prevent condensation on the
camera lens. It is recommended to store the camera in an environment with humidity lower than 40%.
26. DO NOT store a fully discharged battery for an extended period. Otherwise, it will over discharge,
which will lead to permanent damage to the battery.
27. Before taking a battery on an airline flight, fully discharge the battery. Make sure to discharge the
battery in a fireproof location.
28. Keep the battery away from metal objects such as glasses, watches, jewelry, and hairpins.
29. DO NOT transport a damaged battery or a battery with a power level higher than 50%.
30. Only dispose of a battery after completely discharging it. DO NOT dispose of a battery in a regular trash
container. Strictly follow your local regulations regarding the disposal and recycling of the battery.
1. Intricate components inside Osmo Action 3 may be damaged upon impact and cause the camera to
malfunction.
2. Only use a soft dry cloth to clean Osmo Action 3. DO NOT use any liquid cleansers or liquid containing
2
alcohol. DO NOT clean the inside of the lens protective cover with liquid. Make sure the lens and lens
protective cover are dry and clean. Sand and dust may damage the lens and water may negatively affect
the performance.
3. Keep Osmo Action 3 away from sand and dust. Wash the camera if the holes on Osmo Action 3 are
blocked by sand, dust, or any other substance. Make sure all covers and compartments are closed
before washing Osmo Action 3.
4. Some small parts of Osmo Action 3 are a choking hazard. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
5. The Osmo Action 3 lens protective cover may overheat if used for an extended period. It is recommended
to use the Osmo Action 3 rubber lens protector when using the camera for an extended period.
6. The lens and lens filter cap consist of glass. Make sure to be careful if either break.
7. The edges of the battery are sharp. Make sure to be careful when handling.
8. DO NOT insert sharp objects into the USB-C port or microSD card slot.
9. DO NOT expose Osmo Action 3 or the battery to extreme cold or hot temperature. Otherwise, the
operating time and functionality may be negatively affected.
10. DO NOT use Osmo Action 3 inside hot springs. DO NOT allow Osmo Action 3 to come into contact with
corrosive or unknown liquids.
11. DO NOT use Osmo Action 3 during lightning storms.
12. DO NOT disassemble or repair Osmo Action 3 by yourself.
1. The battery is designed to stop charging when it is fully charged. It is a good practice, however, to
monitor the charging progress and disconnect the battery when it is fully charged.
2. Discharge the battery to 40-65% if it will not be used for 10 days or more. This can greatly extend the
battery life.
3. The battery will enter hibernation mode if depleted and stored for an extended period. Recharge the
battery to bring it out of hibernation.
4. Remove the battery from Osmo Action 3 and store the battery in the Osmo Action 3 Multifunctional
Battery Case when stored for an extended period.
5. DO NOT over-discharge the battery, as this may lead to battery cell damage.
6. The battery life may be reduced if it is not used for an extended period.
7. Discharge and charge the battery completely once every three months to keep it in good condition.
8. When using the Osmo Action 3 Multifunctional Battery Case to charge the Osmo Action 3 Extreme
Batteries, it is recommended to use the DJI 30 W USB-C Charger or a USB-C charger that supports Power
Delivery or PPS (Programmable Power Delivery).
9. Place the Osmo Action 3 Multifunctional Battery Case on a flat and stable surface when in use. Ensure
the device is properly insulated to prevent fire hazards.
10. DO NOT attempt to touch the metal terminals on the Osmo Action 3 Multifunctional Battery Case.
11. Clean the metal terminals on the Osmo Action 3 Multifunctional Battery Case with a clean, dry cloth if
