DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE APP
Caution: The below QR codes are used to download the wireless connection app. They are different than
the QR code that may appear on the side of the unit below the rating plate.
PREPARATION
âą Ensure your mobile device is connected to your wireless router. Also ensure that the wireless router is
connected to the internet.
âą Ensure you mobile device is already connected to the wireless network that you wish to use. Remove
any other unused wireless networks from your deivce history to avoid confusion.
âą Images in this manual are for instructional purposes only. The actual app may appear slightly different.
Android users: scan the below QR code or go to
Google Play and search âDanbyâ to download and
install the wireless app.
iOS users: scan the below QR code or go to the
APP Store and search âDanbyâ to download and
install the wireless app. If you see more than one
version of the app in the APP Store, choose the one
named âDanbyâ.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CREATE ACCOUNT
When you open the app for the ïŹrst time, you will be asked to read and agree with the Data Privacy
Notice.
NETWORK CONFIGURATION
âą It may be helpful to remove unused wireless networks from your device memory to make sure you are
connecting to the correct network.
âą Make sure the wireless device and network are working properly before beginning to connect the
wireless appliance. You must ïŹnish all the steps for connection within 8 minutes of entering AP mode or
the connection will reset and you will need to activate AP mode again to restart the connection.
âą There are two ways to connect the wireless feature, by Bluetooth connection or by manual selection. We
recommend using the Bluetooth connection as it is easy and fast and will save you time. If the Bluetooth
connection does not work, follow the steps for manual connection.
To begin the connection process, plug in the appliance and then press and hold the Power button on the
control panel for 3 seconds. âAPâ will show on the display. This stands for âAccess Pointâ and means that
AP mode is activated and the wireless receiver in the appliance is ready to make a connection.

1. Press âCreate Accountâ or press âSign in
with a third party account.â
2. Enter your email address and password and
then press, âRegisterâ.
