Please read theîentire instruction manual before using theîproduct and then save

⢠Make sure that you have read and understood theîentire instruction manual
before using theîproduct. Incorrect use of theîproduct can lead to electric shock,
explosion and ďŹre which in turn may result in serious injury, death or property
damage.
⢠Theîproduct must only be used as described in this instruction manual.
⢠Do not use theîproduct if it or any of theîcables is damaged in anyîway.
⢠Do not use theîproduct if it is excessively hot, emitting smoke or anîunusual odour
or is operating abnormally.
⢠Never immerse theîproduct in water or other liquid.
⢠Do not expose theîproduct to rain, humidity, impacts or shocks.
⢠If theîproduct becomes wet during use, disconnect it from theîcar battery
immediately and do not use it again until it has been inspected by qualiďŹed service
personnel.
⢠Only use theîproduct with parts and accessories approved by theîmanufacturer
orîretailer.
⢠Keep theîbattery leads away from hot or moving engineîparts. Contact with such
parts could result in injury orîdeath.
⢠Do not use theîproduct on unmonitored, incompatible or damaged batteries;
theyîcan explode.
⢠Disconnect theîproduct immediately if theîbattery to which it is connected
becomes excessivelyîhot.
⢠Never attempt to jump start aîfrozen battery.
⢠Only use theîproduct with 12îV lead-acid batteries. Neverîattempt to use
theîproduct with any other types of batteries.
⢠Never use theîproduct if you are at all unsure which type of battery your carîhas.
⢠Only operate theîproduct in well-ventilatedîareas.
⢠Theîproduct emits heat and is capable of causingîburns.
⢠Never cover theîproduct.
⢠Do not smoke when using theîproduct and keep it away from any sources of
sparks and naked ďŹames.
⢠Keep theîproduct away from combustible materials.
⢠Never try to open theîcasing.
⢠Never attempt to tamper with or modify theîproduct in anyîway.

⢠Always wear eye protection when using theîproduct. Batteries can explode and
cause ďŹying debris. Battery acid can cause eye and skin irritation. Inîcase of
contact with battery acid, ďŹush theîarea immediately with clean running water and
seek medical attention.
⢠Working with and around lead-acid batteries is dangerous. Readîall theîsafety
instructions provided by theîmanufacturer of your car battery. Readîall
theîinformation regarding theîuse of any equipment intended to be used with
theîbattery and information regarding how theîbattery in your car should be
charged. Payîattention to any warning labels on theîbattery and theîcar.
Personal safety
⢠Make sure that there is someone within earshot who can help you in case of
anîemergency.
⢠Have aîsupply of soap and water close in case of contact with batteryîacid.
⢠Always wear safety goggles and suitable protective clothing while working with
aîcar battery.
⢠Always wash your hands after working with aîcar battery and related materials.
⢠Keep all metal tools, watches and jewellery away from theîbattery. Metalîobjects
which come into contact with battery terminals can create sparks or short-circuit
theîbattery resulting in electric shock, explosion orîďŹre. Thisîcan in turn lead to
serious injury, death or property damage.
⢠Theîproduct may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and
knowledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of theîproduct in aîsafe way and understand theîhazards involved.
⢠Never let children play with theîproduct.
⢠Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
