Safety
1) Work area
a) Cluttered and poorly lit areas Keep theîwork area clean and well illuminated.

gases or dust. Powerîtools generate sparks that can easily ignite dust orîfumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away from theîarea where you are using
theîpower tool. Distractions can cause you to lose your concentration and control.
2) Electrical safety
a) Theîplug of theîpower tool must ïŹt correctly into theîwall socket.
Neverîmodify theîplug in any way. Neverîuse anîadaptor together with
earthed power tools. UnmodiïŹed plugs and suitable wall sockets minimize
theîrisk of electric shocks.
b) Avoid physical contact with earthed objects, such as pipes, radiators, ovens
or refrigerators. Thereîis anîincreased risk of receiving anîelectrical shock if your
body is earthed.
c) Waterîentering Do not expose theîpower tool to rain or other wet conditions.
aîpower tool will increase theîrisk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse theîmains lead. Neverîuse theîlead to carry theîtool or pull
theîplug from aîwall socket. Keepîtheîlead away from heat, oil, sharp edges
and moving parts. Damaged or tangled leads increase theîrisk of electric shock.
e) When using power tools outdoors, use anîextension lead that is suitable for
this purpose. Theîuse of anîextension lead designed for outdoor use decreases
theîrisk of electric shocks.
3) Personal safety
a) Pay attention to what you are doing and use common sense when using
power tools. Neverîuse power tools if you are tired or under theîinïŹuence of
drugs, alcohol or medication. Oneîmoment of inattention while using aîpower
tool may result in serious injury.
b) Wear protective clothing. Alwaysîwear safety glasses. Usingîprotective
clothing such as dust masks, non-slip safety shoes, helmets and ear defenders
when needed decreases theîrisk of injury.

c) Avoid accidental starts. Makeîsure that theîpower switch is set to OFF before
plugging theîtool into aîwall socket. Neverîcarry aîpower tool with your ïŹnger on
theîtrigger and never connect theîpower tool to aîwall socket when theîswitch is
set to ON, since it may result in injury.
d) Aîservice Remove all service tools/keys before switching on theîpower tool.

e) Do not overreach. Makeîsure you stand steady and well balanced at all
times. Thisîwill allow you to have more control in unexpected situations.
f) Wear suitable clothing. Doînot wear loose-ïŹtting clothing or jewellery.
Keepîhair, clothes and gloves away from moving parts. Loose-ïŹtting clothes,
jewellery or long hair could potentially become caught in any moving parts.
g) If equipment for dust extraction or collecting is available make sure it is
connected and used properly. Useîof dust collection equipment can reduce dust
related hazards.
4) Use and maintenance of the power tool
a) Do not force theîpower tool. Useîtheîcorrect power tool for your application.
Theîcorrect power tool will perform theîtask better and safer if used at theîcorrect
feedîrate.
b) Never use theîpower tool if theîpower switch does not switch theîtool
on andîoff. Anyîpower tool that cannot be controlled by theîpower switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Unplug theîlead from theîwall socket before making any adjustments,
changing accessories or storing theîpower tool. Theseîprecautions reduce
theîrisk of theîpower tool starting unexpectedly.
d) Storeîpower tools that are not being used out of childrenâs reach. Doînot
allow people who are unfamiliar with theîtool or its functions to operate it.
Powerîtools can be dangerous if they fall into theîhands of inexperienced users.
e) Maintain power tools. Checkîfor any incorrect settings, parts that
catch, broken parts or anything else which may cause theîpower tool
to malfunction. Ifîsomething is damaged it must be repaired before use.

f) Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting Keep tools sharp and clean.

result in aîdangerous situation.
