What is Included
To Begin
Unpack your EZbar and make sure you have received all parts in good condition. If the box or contents appear damaged,
notify the carrier immediately, not Chauvet.
• ONLY connect this product to a grounded and protected circuit.
• DISCONNECT from power before cleaning.
• DO NOT look at the light source when the product is on.
• Make sure the power cord is not crimped or damaged.
• Never disconnect this product from power by pulling on the cord.
• When mounting this product overhead, ALWAYS use a safety cable.
• DO NOT allow flammable materials close to the product when it is operating.
• DO NOT touch the product’s housing when it is on because it will be hot.
• The voltage of the outlet to which you are connecting this product must be within the range stated on the
decal or rear panel of the product.
• This product is for indoor use only! (IP20) To prevent risk of fire or shock, do not expose this product to rain
or moisture.
• Always mount this product in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 20 in (50 cm) from adjacent
surfaces.
• Be sure that no ventilation slots on the unit’s housing are blocked.
• Never connect this product to a dimmer or rheostat.
• Never carry the product by the power cord. Use only the hanging bracket or handle to carry this product.
• The maximum ambient temperature is 104 °F (40 °C). Do not operate this product at higher temperatures.
• In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using immediately.
• DO NOT open this product. It contains no user-serviceable parts.
• To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-use completely disconnect
the product from power via breaker or by unplugging it.

Product Overview
AC Power
This product has an external auto-ranging power supply that works with an input voltage range of 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60
Hz. The output voltage is 15 VDC, 1.6 A.
Battery Power
Each EZbar comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for cable-free operation.
Battery Life Indicator
The battery life indicator shows the remaining amount of internal battery life.
Battery Charge Notes
• Avoid depleting the battery below 10%.
• For best results, charge the battery in a temperature between 32 °F (0 °C), and 95 °F (35 °C).
• When charging the battery, keep the product at least 1 m from any open flame or hot plate.
• If the battery is completely discharged, the device cannot be turned on immediately when the charger is connected. Allow
a depleted battery to charge for a few minutes before turning on the device.
• While charging, the device may heat up. This is normal and should not affect the device’s lifespan or performance. If the
battery gets hotter than usual, the charger may stop charging.
• Do not charge the battery in a closed container.
• Do not charge the battery for more than 24 hours.
Battery Run Time
To eliminate wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-use completely disconnect the
product from power via breaker or by unplugging it.
The charging indicators on the EZbar show red when the battery is charging, and green when it is fully
charged.
Do not charge the battery in a closed container.
