Sicherheitsinformationen
• Schützen Sie das Mikrofon vor Feuchtigkeit, Herunterfallen
und Stoß. Sie könnten das Mikrofon dabei beschädigen!
• Pusten Sie nicht in das Mikrofon und vermeiden Sie es, auf
den Mikrofonkorb zu klopfen. Zur Funktionskontrolle sollten
Sie in das Mikrofon sprechen oder leicht am Mikrofonkorb
kratzen.
•Wichtiger Hinweis zum Schwanenhals
Zur Vermeidung von Überdehnungen und frühzeitigem Ver -
schleiß darf der Schwanenhals nicht scharf und nur bis zu
einem Winkel von maximal 90 Grad gebogen werden.

• Abnahme von Blasinstrumenten wie Trompete, Posaune oder
Saxophon
Anschluss
Das TG I57 ist mit einem weiblichen 4-pol. Mini-XLR Stecker
ausgestattet und in zwei Versionen verfügbar:
als Opus-Version kann es an Taschensendern der Opus-Serie
angeschlossen werden; als TG-Version wird es mit den drahtlosen
Mikrofonsystemen der TG-Serie verwendet.
Für den kabelgebundenen Einsatz muss das Mikrofon mit einem
optionalen Speisewandler an einem phantomspeisenden Mikro -
foneingang betrieben werden. Der direkte Anschluss des TG I57
an Phantomspeisung kann das Mikrofon zerstören!
Inbetriebnahme
Das TG I57 kann mithilfe der Klammer am Schallstück eines
Instruments befestigt werden. Die genaue Ausrichtung der Mikro -
fonkapsel auf die Schallquelle erfolgt dann mit dem Schwenk -
gelenk und dem Schwanenhals. Bei Holzblas instrumenten wie
Saxofonen sind auch die Klappen an der Tonerzeugung beteiligt,
daher sollte das Mikrofon so ausgerichtet werden, dass das TG
I57 auch deren Anteile aufnimmt. Die weiche Oberfläche der
Klammer dämpft dabei die Übertragung von Handhabungs -
geräuschen und schont die Instrumentenober fläche.

Safety Information
• Protect the microphone from moisture and sudden impacts.
You could damage the microphone!
• Do not blow into the microphone and do not knock on the
microphone basket. Speak into the microphone or lightly
scratch the microphone head grill to check functionality.
•Important information on gooseneck
To avoid overstretching and premature wear and tear, never
bend the gooseneck sharply or more than 90°.
Applications
• Miking up brass instruments such as trumpet, trombone and
saxophone
Connection
The TG I57 is fitted with a female 4-pin mini XLR connector and
available in two versions:
as Opus version it can be connected to the Opus series beltpack
transmitters; as TG version it can be used with the wireless micro-
phone systems of the TG series.
For wired applications with phantom power sources the TG I57
must be used with an optional power adapter. If the TG I57 is
directly connected to phantom power, the microphone can be
damaged!
Setting up
The TG I57 can be attached to the bell of an instrument using
the clip. The microphone can be directed precisely towards the
sound source using the gooseneck. With woodwind instruments
such as the saxophone, the keys are also involved in producing
tone, and therefore the microphone should be directed to allow
the TG I57 to pick up their contribution. The soft surface of the
clip attenuates the transmission of handling noise and vibration
and does not damage the instrument surface.
Service
Servicing must be carried out by qualified service personnel only.
Dismantling the microphone yourself will invalidate the guarantee.

Branchement
Le TG I57 est doté d’une fiche femelle XLR mini à 4 broches et
est disponible en deux versions:
la version Opus se prête à la connexion à l'émetteur de poche des
systèmes de microphone sans fil Opus, tandis que la version TG
est utilisée en combinaison avec le système de microphone TG.
En présence d’une liaison filaire, le microphone doit être utilisé
avec un convertisseur d’alimentation optionnel sur une entrée de
microphone avec alimentation fantôme. Le raccordement direct
du TG I57 sur une alimentation fantôme peut détruire le micro-
phone!
Mise en service
Le TG I57 peut être fixé sur le pavillon de l’instrument à l’aide
de la pince. L’orientation exacte de la capsule de microphone
vers la source sonore s’effectue ensuite avec le bras articulé et le
col de cygne. En présence d’instruments à vent et notamment de
bois tels que le saxophone, les clapets contribuent eux aussi à
générer le son, c’est pourquoi nous recommandons d'orienter le
TG I57 de sorte à ce qu’il perçoive également ces parties. La
surface souple de la pince atténue à cet effet la transmission de
bruits de manipulation et protège l’instrument.

En cas de nécessité veuillez vous adresser à un technicien
beyerdynamic autorisé. N’ouvrez jamais le microphone, vous
risquerez sinon de perdre vous droits de garantie.
