Thank you for choosing this ALPINA home appliance. Your Alpina appliance comes with a 2 year warranty and will

hope you will connue to make ALPINA your rst choice in home appliances.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precauons should be followed:
1. Read all instrucons carefully.
2. Make sure the power supply corresponds to one on the rang label.
3. To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse electrical parts in water or other liquid.
4. Do not allow children to operate or play with the appliance.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, or before pung on/taking o parts.
6. Do not use with damaged electrical cord or plug.
7. If damaged or malfuncon occurs, refer to an authorized service center only.
8. Do not place on or near hot surfaces.
9. Never pull the appliance by the power cord.
10. Do not use the appliance for other than intended household use.
NOTE: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilies or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instrucon by a person
who is responsible for their safety concerning the use of the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
READ ESE INSTRUCTIONS TH
1. For the rst me use, ll the thermo jug with mix white vinegar and cold water, pour the mixture into the water
tank and bring to boil, pour out the mixture and repeat the process unl no yellow liquid comes out if necessary.
Then ll the water tank with tap water only and brew unl no vinegar odor is le.
2. Place the appliance on a clean and level surface and away from ammable things.
3. To add some coee powder or tea during operaon, always turn the power o and turn on aer relling.
4. If there is no water in the water tank, switch the power o, and do not switch on if the water tank is empty.
5. Never leave the appliance unaended while in use.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
1. Fill the thermo jug with clean and cold water.
2. Open the water tank cover and ll in with clean water from the thermo jug to the required level.
3. Please note that the lid should be ghtened correctly. Place the thermo jug on its original posion.
4. Put adequate coee powder in the lter and place it back in the lter basket.
5. Insert the mains plug into the wall socket and switch it on, the indicator lights up and start working.
6. When the coee is ready, turn o the device rst and then remove the cup.
7. ANTI-DRIP VALVE: A cup may be served before all the coee has been prepared. When the jug is removed from the
hotplate the drip system is suspended temporarily. The jug must be replaced on the hotplate within 20seconds.
8. Once the preparaon cycle has nished. Wait a minute unl the drip has completely nished.
9. Keeping the jug on the hot plate will keep your coee or tea warm.
10. Do not touch the hotplate right aer operaon, as it is sll very hot.
11. Overheat heat protecon by Thermo fuse: When turn on the appliance without water or aer it nish brewing
water, the temperature will increase and the Thermo fuse device will cut o the power automacally at the
required temperature. In this case, unplugged the appliance at once.

Operaon:
1. Uncover the top cover and ll clean water to required level.
2 Put adequate quanty of coee powder or tealeaves in the lter cone. ．
3 Place the cups on the drip plate. ．
4 Place the tundish with the ltercone in the tundish support. ．
5 Close the top cover. ．
6 Switch on, the indicator lamp will light up and the machine begin working. ．
7 Aer boiling, when no water in tank, the coee is ready. ．
Warning:
This appliance is equipped with a grounded, Type G, 2-pin power supply cord. This is a safety feature. Do not attempt to
defeat the safety purpose of this plug.
Danger of scalding:
Please use cauon when using this coffee maker. The steam emitted from this aperture can be very hot.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged from electrical outlet before cleaning.
2. Wipe the outside body of the appliance with damp cloth.
3. The removable items (lter, lter holder, drip tray) can be washed on hot spray water (or in a dishwasher).
4. Decaled your appliance regularly. With normal use, aer decaling, let the appliance work twice or more with only
water to rinse away the detergent remainders.
