Instructions to connect to ground
Procedure for electrical grounding
Your refrigerator is equipped with an electric
cord provided with a 3-terminal grounding
plug. To reduce the possibility of electric
shock to a minimum, the cord must be
connected to an electrical grounded wall
outlet for 3-prong plugs. The installation
must be grounded in accordance with the
National Electric Code and all local codes
and regulations.
If there is no outlet of this type, it is the responsibility and obligation of the
customer to install a wall outlet with 3 terminals and properly grounded by a
qualifi ed electrician.
How to use the refrigerator
Adjust temperature control
Your refrigerator has 2 controls that allow you to regulate the temperature in
the refrigerator and freezer compartment independently.
When you connect for the fi rst time:
• Set the refrigerator and freezer temperature controls to the Cold Medium
position ( ). Controls range from less cold ( ) to colder ( ).
• Moving the refrigerator control to OFF
stops the freezer and refrigerator from
cooling but does not disconnect from
electricity.
• Allow the refrigerator time to cool
completely before putting food in it.
Its cooling may take several hours.
Adjust the temperature control to keep
the food as cold as you want.
The positions suggested above are the
