SAFETY INSTRUCTION
1. If you pass this appliance on to a third party, these
operating instructions must also be handed over.
2. Incorrect operation and handling can lead to
malfunction of the appliance and injuries to the user.
3. This appliance is not suitable for commercial use or
for use in the open air.
4. Before inserting the plug into the mains socket,
please check that the current and power supply
complies with the specifications on the type plate.
5. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the
appliance is not in use and before cleaning.
6. Parts of the appliance become hot during use.
Therefore, the appliance must only be held by the
handle. Avoid touching the metal parts as they
become very hot.
7. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in
water or other liquids. There is a danger to life due to
electric shock!
8. Children are unable to recognize the hazards
associated with incorrect handling of electrical
appliances. Therefore, children should never use
electric household appliances unsupervised.
9. Do not use the appliance if the mains cable or plug
shows signs of damage, or the appliance has fallen
on the floor or has other parts been damage. In such
cases, it is necessary to take the appliance to a
specialist for checking and repair.
10. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp
edges and keep it away from hot objects and open
flames.
11. Place the appliance on a stable, level surface and not
close to hot objects or open flames (e.g. hotplates).
12. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
13. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
14. Children shall not play with the appliance.
15. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 years and
supervised.
16. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children less than 8 years.
17. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
18. The machine should not be operated by means of an
external timer-switch or by means of a separate
system with remote control.
19. This appliance is intended to be used in household
and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and other working environments; farm
houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments; bed and breakfast
type environments.

The accessible surface may get hot when
the appliance is operating.
