Never leave the magnifying lens unattended where direct sunlight may pass through it: this

creates a fire hazard. Please close the lens cover after each use.

Do not use the luminaire with a cracked or broken protective shield. Disconnect

immediately from the mains.

3. General Guidelines

Refer to the on the last pages of this manual. Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty

Indoor use only. Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids.

• Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.

• Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.

• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Do not replace a damaged power

cord yourself but refer to an authorized dealer.

• Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the

warranty.

• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and

6. Use

1. Fix the clip to your desk or table. [5]

2. Insert the base of the lamp into the clip . [3] [5]

3. Connect the lamp to the mains. To do so, insert the power plug of the power adapter into the [4]

power input of the lamp. Insert the power adapter into the mains outlet. [2]

4. Switch on your lamp with the on-off button and adjust the lamp head to the ideal position. [1]

Switch off and disconnect from the mains after use.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

• The device does not require any particular maintenance. However, cleaning it regularly will keep it

clean.

o Wipe with a dry cloth.

o Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents to clean the lamp.

• Before cleaning, unplug the lamp completely from the mains.
