5. Installation/operation
Refer to the illustration on page 2 of this manual.

•• Open the table clamp [1] by twisting the T-handle counter clockwise.
•
•
•
•• Slide the clamp [1] over a suitable and solid horizontal surface capable of carrying it, T-handle
at the bottom. Do not attach to round objects e.g. tubes.
•
•
•
•• Twist the T-handle clockwise until the clamp [1] is firmly secured to the surface.
•
•
•
•• Slide the stem [2] of the lamp into the hole on top of the clamp.
•
•
•
•• Plug the power cable into a suitable mains outlet.
•
•
•
•• Switch on the lamp with the On/Off button [6] on top of the lamp.
•
•
•
•• The magnifying lens [5] [3] is protected by a hard cover . Fold it upwards to use the lens. Do
not force. Always close it when not in use to avoid fire hazard (sunlight).
