Coffee Maker

Dear Buyer!

We co ng ra tu la te y o u o n ha v in g bo ug h t t he

device under trade name «Saturn». We are sure

that our devices will become safe and reliable

assistance in your housekeeping.

Avoid extreme temperature changes. Rapid

temperature change (e.g. when the unit is moved

from freezing temperature to a warm room) may

cause condensation inside the unit and a

malfunction when it is switched on. In this case

leave the unit at room temperature for at least 1.5

hours before switching it on.

If the unit has been in transit, leave it indoors for

at least 1.5 hours before starting operation.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Before using the electrical appliance, the following

basic precautions should always be followed

including the following:

1. Read all instructions.

2. Before using check that the voltage of wall

outlet corresponds to rated voltage marked on the

rating plate.

3. This appliance has been incorporated with a

grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in your

house is well earthed.

4. Close supervision is necessary when your

appliance is being used near children.

5. Do not place the coffee maker on hot surface or

beside fire in order to avoid to be damaged.

6. Remove plug from wall outlet before cleaning

and when not in use.

Allow appliance cool down completely before

taking off, attaching components or before

cleaning.

7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged

cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or

damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the

nearest authorized service facility for examination,

repair or adjustment.

8. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury

to persons do not immerse cord, plug, in water or

other liquid.

9. Place appliance on flat surface or table, do not

hang power cord over the edge of table or counter.

10. Ensure the power cord do not touch hot surface

of appliance.

11. Some parts of appliance is hot when operated,

so do not touch with hand. Use handles or knobs

only.

12. To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet.

Always hold the plug. But never pull the cord.

13. Do not let the coffee maker operate without

water.

14. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed

during the brewing cycles.

17. Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any

signs of cracks or carafe having a loose or weakened

handle. Only use the carafe with thi s appliance. Use

carefully as the carafe is very fragile.

18. Never leave the empty carafe on the keeping warm

plate otherwise the carafe is liable to crack.

19. Do not clean container with cleansers, steel wool

pads, or other abrasive material.

20. The use of accessory attachments not

recommended by the appliance manufacturer may

result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons

21. Do not use outdoors.

22. This appliance is not intended for use by persons

(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities, or lack of experience and

knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliances by a

person responsible for their safety.

23. Children should be supervised to ensure that they

do not play with the appliance.

24. This appliance is intended to be used in

household and similar applications such as:

- staﬀ kitchen areas in shops, oﬀices and other

working environments;

- farm houses;

- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential

type environments;

- bed and breakfast type environments.

25. Do not use appliance for other than intended

use.

26. Save these instructions.

KNOW YOUR COFFEE MAKER

BEFORE FIRST USE

Check that all accessories are complete and the

unit is not damaged. Add water into water tank to

the MAX level and brew water for several times

without coffee powder, then discard the water.

Clean all detachable parts thoroughly with warm

water.

USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER

1) Open the tank cover and fill fresh water with the

carafe. The water level should not exceed MAX

level as indicated on the gauge.

2) Place the funnel into the funnel support, make

sure it is assembled correctly. Place the filter in the

funnel.

3) Add coffee powder into filter. Usually a cup of

coffee need a level spoon of coffee powder, but

you may adjust according to personal taste. Then

close the tank cover.

4) Insert the carafe on keeping warm plate

horizontally.

5) Plug the power cord into the outlet.

6) Turning on the switch, the indicator will be

illuminated. The appliance will begin working. The

brewing process can be interrupted by pressing the

switch to the “O” position at any time. The appliance

will continue brewing once the switch is turned on

again.

Caution: to reduce the risk of steam scalding, be

careful when opening the lid during brewing.

Note: you can take out carafe, pour and serve at

any time. The appliance will stop dripping

automatically. But the time cannot exceed 30

seconds.

7) Remove out carafe to serve when finish brewing

(about one minute later after the coffee stops dripping

out.)

9) When the process is finished, if you do not want

to serve immediately, keep the switch on, the

coffee can be kept warm in the keeping warm plate

until the power is cut off manually. For an

optimum coffee taste, serve it just after brewing.

10) Always turn the coffee maker off and

disconnect the power supply when not use.

Note: pay attention to pour the coﬀee out,

otherwise you may be hurt as the temperature of

coffee just finished is high.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Caution: Be sure to unplug this appliance before

cleaning.

cord, plug or unit in water or liquid. After each

use, always make sure plug is first removed from

wall outlet.

1) Clean all detachable parts after each use in hot,

sudsy water.

2) Wipe the product’s exterior surface with a soft,

damp cloth to remove stains.

3) Water droplets may buildup in the area above

the funnel and drip onto the product base during

brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the area

with a clean, dry cloth after each use of the

product.

4) Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the keeping

warm plate. Never use abrasive cleaner to clean it.

5) Replace all parts and keep for next use.

REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS

1. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the

MAX level (it is approximate 1.25L, the scale of

water and descaler is 4:1, the detail refers to the

instruction of descaler. Please use “household

descaler”, you can use the citric acid instead of the

descaler (the one hundred parts of water and three

parts of citric acid).

2. Push drip caraf e on keepin g w arm plate , pay

attention to let center line of carafe aligns with that

of brew basket.

3. Pressing the switch to the “I”position, the

indicator will be illuminated. After a while, water

will drop out automatically.

4. After percolate the equivalent of one cup and

then press the switch to the “O” position to stop

the appliance.

5. Leave the solution work for 15 minutes, repeat

the steps of 3-5 again.

6. Turn the appliance on by pressing the switch to

the “I” position and run off the water until the

water tank is completely empty.

7. Rinse by operating the appliance with water at least

3 times.

HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE

1. A clean coffee maker is essential for making

great-tasting coffee. Regularly clean the coffee

maker as specified in the “CLEANING AND

MAINTENANCE” section. Always use fresh, cold

water in the coffee maker.

2. Store unused coffee powder in a cool, dry place.

After opening a package of coffee powder, reseal it

tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its

freshness.

3. For an optimum coffee taste, buy whole coffee

beans and finely grind them just before brewing.

4. Do not reuse coffee powder since this will

greatly reduce the coffee’ flavor. Reheating coffee

is not recommended as coffee is at its peak flavor

immediately after brewing.

5. Clean the coffee maker when over-extraction

causes oiliness. Small oil droplets on the surface of

brewed, black coffee are due to the extraction of

oil from the coffee powder.

6. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily

roasted coffees are used.

Не подвергайте устройство резким

перепадам температур. Резкая смена

температуры (например, внесение

устройства с мороза в теплое помещение)

может вызвать конденсацию влаги внутри

устройства и нарушить его

работоспособность при включении.

Устройство должно отстояться в теплом

помещении не менее 1,5 часов.

Ввод устройства в эксплуатацию после

транспортировки производить не ранее, чем

Перед началом работы с устройством

током не погружайте шнур, вилку в воду или

другую жидкость.

9. Располагайте устройство на ровной

поверхности, при этом шнур не должен свисать

с краев стола.

10. Убедитесь, что шнур питания не касается

горячей поверхности.

11. Некоторые части кофеварки нагреваются во

время работы. Не касайтесь их. Используйте

ручку или кнопку.

12. Для отключения устройства выньте шнур

питания из розетки. Тяните за вилку. Не тяните за

шнур.

13. Не включайте кофеварку без воды.

14. Если во время при готовлени я кофе открыть

крышку, возможно получение ожогов.

17. Не пользуйтесь прибором, если повреждена

колба (трещины, другие повреждения) или если

расшаталась или повреждена ручка.

Используйте колбу только с кофеваркой.

Обращайтесь с колбой крайне осторожно.

18. Не оставляйте пустую колбу на нагревательной

панели - она может треснуть.

19. Не используйте для очистки колбы чистящие

средства, стальные скребки или другие

абразивные материалы.

20. Использование аксессуаров и насадок, не

рекомендуемых производителем, может

привести к пожару или поражению током.

21. Не используйте кофеварку вне помещения.

22. Данный прибор не предназначен для

использования лицами с ограниченными

физическими, чувствительными или ментальными

возможностями или не обладающими знаниями и

опытом в использовании данного прибора, пока

лица, отвечающие за их безопасность,, не проведут

инструктаж по поводу использования данного

устройства. Не рекомендуется использовать

устройство детям в возрасте до 14 лет.

23. Необходимо внимательно следить за

кофеваркой, если она используется возле детей.
