Start to use camera stand along:
1.Batteries installation: On the bottom of the camera, slide the battery door in the direction
indicated by the arrow to open it. Insert two AA size alkaline batteries as +/- marking
indicated on the inner side of the battery door. Close the battery cover.
Note:
LCD will flash when the batteries in the unit are running out, you can’t take photos at this time
and please replace new batteries. When the voltage drop down to 2.2 volts, "Lo” appears
on the LCD and blinks then the unit will be power off automatically.
2.Turn on the power:
Press mode button about two seconds to turn on the power, and then operate after beep.
(Automatic power off after idling 30 seconds).
3.Photo taking:
Press shutter button, camera will beep after the image saved, if there is no beep or ''0'' appears on
the LCD, the memory is full.
4.Mode selection:
Hd: high density Hr: high resolution
Ld: low density Lr: low resolution
Hd mode: press shutter button, camera will beep after the image saved, and number of
pictures will descends after ''--''appears on the LCD then beep. At this mode, 50 images
can be taken in ''Hr'' mode ;152 images can be taken in ''Lr'' mode ,but the LCD counter
will only go up to 99, it will continue reporting 99 until there are less than 99 images left.
Ld mode: Press shutter button, camera will beep after the image saved, and number of
pictures will descends, At this mode, 19 images can be taken in ''Hr'' mode;64 images
can be taken in ''Lr'' mode.
Continuous Shot: Select ''d8'' appears on the LCD by press mode button, you can perform
continuous shot by press shutter button continuously.
3 PCS Continuously Shot: Repeatedly presses MODE Button to select the icon CS shown on LCD.
Press the Shutter Button once. You will take 3 consecutive photos when completed.
Note: The photos taken by this mode will be downloaded individually.
Self - Timer: Select ''SE'' appears on the LCD by press mode button, then press shutter button,
It will beep every second and a picture will be taken automatically after ten seconds.
Delete Last: Select ''CL'' appears on the LCD by press mode button, the last image can be deleted.
Delete All: Select ''CA'' appears on the LCD by press mode button, press shutter button and
''CA'' on the LCD will flash then press shutter button again.
Mains Frequency: You can switch 50Hz or 60Hz in different zone by press mode or shutter button.
5. Power Off: Select ''OF'' appears on the LCD, press mode button then press shutter button, It switch
off automatically when there are no operations for over 30 seconds.
6. Photo Download: You have to install the software driver first, please refer to driver installation section.
Installing Camera Driver & Snap Science Program (for windows 98/2000/Me/ XP)
1. Insert CD into Disk Drive, program will automatically appear on your screen.
2. Click on buttons to install Camera Driver and Snap Science editing program.
3. After you install these programs, you will need to restart your computer.
When restarted, look for the Snap Science icon on your desktop.
Take Pictures with Digital Camera
Downloading Pictures from Camera to Computer
1. Connect camera to computer's USB using the USB cable.
2. Open Snap Science program on your desktop.
3. In the library screen click “Download photos into Snap Science”. The downloading screen will appear:
4. Click the first dialog box: you can type a name to create a new folder for your downloaded photos
Click the second dialog box: click and select a folder to download from your computer.
5. Click the third icon “Download photos from camera” button.
6. A “Select Source” dialog box will appear.
7. Click “Dual-Camera” and click “Select”.
8. “Pix up” dialog will appear:
9. Click “Ok” and then the photos in your camera will be downloaded into the photo library of Snap Science
program.
10. If there are no pictures in the camera, the following message will be appeared: “No photos in the camera”
11. To view your saved photos in Snap Science’s photo library, click the “category” box (bottom left corner).
Click any folder to see your saved photos.
12. To delete a photo, first select the photo and click the “Remove selected photo from the program” box.
