6 Don’t open the lid while the water is heating.

7 Take care when pouring – pour slowly, and don’t over-tilt the kettle.

8 Don’t switch on unless the kettle contains at least 2 cups of water.

9 Don’t ﬁll past the mark, or it may spit boiling water.max

10 Remove the kettle from its stand before ﬁlling or pouring.

11 Unplug the stand when not in use, before moving and before cleaning. Let the

kettle cool down before cleaning and storing away.
