Renewable Dehumidiļ¬er
for Portable Dry Case
THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING RUGGARD.
The Ruggard Renewable Dehumidiļ¬er protects your
lenses, photographic and optical equipment, mobile
electronics, and other valuable accessories from
excessive moisture. Using the portable dehumidiļ¬er
inside a small sealed case, you can reduce the interior
relative humidity to help prevent fungus and corrosion
from damaging your gear.
PRECAUTIONS
ā€¢ Please read and follow these instructions, and keep
this manual in a safe place.

Keep this product away from children under 3 years
old, as the small parts can pose a choking hazard.
ā€¢
Keep this product away from direct sunlight and high
temperatures.
ā€¢ Do not attempt to disassemble the unit.
ā€¢
Do not drop or expose the dehumidiļ¬er to strong
shocks.
ā€¢ All images are for illustrative purposes only.
OVERVIEW
1.
Retractable outlet prongs: Use these to plug the
dehumidiļ¬er into a power outlet. The prongs retract
to protect against accidental damage.
2.
Power LED: Shows that the dehumidifier is
receiving power.
Warning! When the dehumidiļ¬er is plugged into an
outlet for charging, the unit can become hot to the
touch. Charging can last between three to ļ¬ve hours
or until the gels turn blue.
3.
Gel status display: Shows the current moisture
saturation levels of the gels. Blue for low saturation
and pink for high saturation. The color guide below
the window lets you know when the device needs to
be recharged, and when itā€™s ready for use.
After charging the gels (blue color), let the unit cool
down for 20 to 30 minutes before use. Then, place the
dehumidiļ¬er inside the Portable Dry Case along with
the equipment you want to keep dry.
