PLACEMENT OPTIONS
Polk Audio RCiSeries In-Wall Loudspeakers give you nearly
endless placement options. But remember that placement choice
for your in-wall speakers bears careful consideration, as installa-
tion requires that you cut a hole in your wall!
Fill a room with sound by installing in-wall speakers in nearly
any wall or ceiling location [figure 1]. Polk RCiSeries In-Wall
Loudspeakers have a wide dispersion pattern and aimable
tweeters that allow you to focus their sound.
OPTIONS D’INSTALLATION
Les haut-parleurs encastrables « In-Wall » RCiSeries de Polk
Audio s’installent à peu près n’importe où. Vous devrez cepen-
dant choisir l’emplacement de vos haut-parleurs « In-Wall » avec
soin puisque vous devrez pratiquer des embrasures dans le mur
ou dans le plafond pour les installer [figure 1]. Grâce à leur
grande dispersion et Ă  leurs tweeters orientables, qui vous per-
mettent de diriger les aigus selon l'acoustique de votre pièce,
les hautparleurs RCi Series « In-Wall » empliront votre pièce
de son de haute qualité.
ADJUSTING THE TWEETER
Aiming the tweeter toward your listening position im-proves
imaging and detail. When using RCiSeries In-Wall Loudspeakers
as front/main home theater speakers [figure 2], aim the tweeter
toward your listening position. For rear/surround speakers
installed in walls or ceilings [figure 3], aim the tweeter toward
the nearest reflecting surface (an adjacent wall or ceiling) for a
more diffuse sound field (if you so desire; for more direct sound,
aim the tweeters at your listening position).

DES TWEETERS
Pour améliorer l’imagerie et le détail, vous pouvez orienter les
tweeters vers votre position d’écoute. Lorsque vous utilisez des
haut-parleurs RCiSeries « In-Wall » pour les canaux stéréo-
phoniques ou avant de cinéma maison [figure 2], orientez les
tweeters vers votre position d’écoute. Lorsque les haut-parleurs
sont installés dans le mur ou dans le plafond pour les canaux
arrières ou ambiophoniques, si vous désirez un son plus diffus
orientez les tweeters vers la surface réfléchissante la plus proche
(mur ou plafond adjacent) ; si vous désirez un son plus direction-
nel, orientez les tweeters vers votre position d’écoute.

RC55i, RC65i i, RC85 models: Holding the edges of the tweeter
carefully between the thumbs and forefingers of both hands,
rock the tweeter slightly to aim it [figure 4].
RC60i, RC80imodels: Grasping the round tweeter with the tips of
the fingers of one hand, pivot the tweeter toward the direction
you desire [figure 5]. Do not “turn” the tweeter like a door knob.
Note: RCiSeries In-Wall Loudspeakers are not magnetically
shielded and should not be placed closer than 1’ (30cm) from a
television or video monitor. If you experience discoloration or dis-
tortion, immediately move the speakers away from your TV.
Modèles RC55 et RC85i, RC65i i : Tenant délicatement le cadre
du tweeter avec le pouce et l’index des deux mains, orientez-
le avec soin [figure 4].
Modèles RC60 et RC80 : Tenant solidement le tweeter avec lei i
bout des doigts d’une main, pivotez-le vers dans la direction
désirée [figure 5]. Ne tournez jamais le tweeter comme une
poignée de porte.
Note: Les haut-parleurs RCiSeries « In-Wall » ne sont pas blindés
magnétiquement et ne devraient pas être installés à moins de 1
pied (30cm) d’un téléviseur ou d’un moniteur vidéo. Si vous voyez
de la distorsion ou de la décoloration dans l’écran, él
oignez immédiatement les haut-parleurs de votre téléviseur.

schte Richtung drehen. Der Hochtonlautsprecher darf nicht wie
ein TĂĽrknauf gedreht werden.
