1.2 SIM card

The SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module) contains your phone number, service details, and

phonebook/message memory. A valid SIM card is needed to make phone calls and use

mobile data.

Before inserting the SIM card, turn oﬀ your phone, remove the back cover of the phone,

battery and any power supply. Make sure to insert the SIM card according to the symbol

depicted on the SIM slot. That is with the gold contacts facing down and the cut-oﬀ corner

facing from the camera. To remove the SIM card, ﬁrst power of the device, remove the away

battery and any power supply. Then remove the SIM card.
