Important Safety Information
Improper handling can cause serious damage to the appliance and/or to the user. Please read the
following safety information .
Warning: The water produced by the window AC is not potable or suitable for drinking.
Do not drink the water drained from the unit as it contains contaminates and could make you sick.
Electrical Safety
Make sure your hands are dry and not wet before operating the unit.
Do not wet the front housing or control panel.
Do not directly spray water on this Air Conditioner.
Do not pull the unit by the cord.
Always turn the unit o and unplug it from the socket when cleaning.
Unplug the unit if it is not going to be used for a long period of time.
Do not operate the unit with a damaged or loose plug and / or socket.
Use only the correct power supply with appropriate amperage.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service agent, or qualied
technician.
Do not turn the unit o or on by inserting or pulling the power plug.
Do not modify the power cord length or share the outlet with another appliance.
Do not use this unit with an extension cord and/or adapter plug.
Do not use this unit near ammable gases/combustibles or in close proximity to heating appliances.
During operation, do not remove any part of the outside casing.
General Safety
Do not let people or pets sit or set an object directly in front of air ow.
If a strange sound, smell, or smoke comes from the unit, turn it o and review the troubleshooting
page of this manual.
Stop operation and unplug unit in the event of a severe storm.
To ensure proper air ow and intake, make sure the air vents are not obstructed.
See instructions for cleaning air lters and how often cleaning should occur.
Do not use strong detergents when cleaning.
Children should be supervised when operating this unit.
Do not allow children to play with the controls or drop any objects into the air outlets or vents.
Do not place objects or let any person sit on top of the unit.
Route the power cord carefully to avoid a tripping hazard.
This unit is intended for domestic home use only. Do not use the window air conditioner for
commercial or industrial use. Any other use may invalidate the warranty.
Use caution when unpacking and installing the unit as there may be some sharp edges.

Refrigerant Safety (R32)
Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean the unit, other than those
recommended by the manufacturer.
The appliance shall be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition sources (for
example: open ames, an operating gas appliance or an operating electric heater).
Do not pierce or burn. Be aware that ammable refrigerants may not contain an odor.
Compliance with national refrigerant regulations shall be observed.
Keep ventilation openings clear of obstructions.
Use caution while handling to prevent damage to the unit. Do not put any holes into the air
conditioner for any reason. This can cause damage to the unit or refrigerant leaks.
Maintenance and cleaning of the unit should be performed by trained personnel. Failure to
properly clean the unit can result in damage to the refrigeration system and or the electrical
system.
Servicing should only be performed by technicians properly trained and certied in the use of
ammable refrigerants. Any service performed by unauthorized servicers/individuals will void
all warranties.
Maintenance and repair requiring the assistance of other skilled personnel shall be carried out
under the supervision of a person competent in the use of ammable refrigerants.
When storing the appliance, do not put in a room with any open ame appliances, such as gas
water heaters or furnaces. Also keep away from electric heaters. Damaged units should be
repaired before storage.
Flammable Refrigerant (R32) is used the air conditioner. When maintaining or disposing of in
the air conditioner, the refrigerant shall be recovered properly, shall not discharged to and be in
the air directly.
