DThis appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when
moving it.
DAny electrical w ork r equired to install this appliance
should be carried out by a qualified electrician or
competent person.
DCare must be tak en to ensure that the appliance does
not stand on the electrical supply cable.
DParts which heat up should not be exposed. Whene ver
possible, the back of the appliance should be close to a
wall, but leaving the required distance for v entilation, as
stated in the installation instructions
DThis appliance should be left for 2 hours after
installation before it is turned on, in order to allow the
refrigerant to settle
DBefore switching on the Freezer ensure that the
interior light bulb and cov er are in position. Do not
connect the appliance if they are not.
DThis appliance is designed to be operated by adults.
Children should not be allowed to tamper with the
contro ls or pla y with the produc t.
DKeep all packaging away from children.
DWhen the appliance is to be sc rapped, cut off the
electrical supply cable and destr oy the plug with the
remaining cable. Disable the door catch in order to
pre vent children from becoming trapped inside while
pla ying.
DThis appliance is designed for domestic use only,
specifically for the storage of edible foodstuffs only.
It is not intended for comm ercial or industrial use.
DContainers with flammable gases or liquids can leak at
low temperatures. Do not store any containers with
flammable materials, such as spra y cans, fire extinguisher
refill cartridges etc. in the refrigerator or the vici nity of
the refrigerator or any other appliance.
DFrozen food should not be refrozen once it has thaw ed
out
DDo not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the freezer.
DIce lollies can cause frost/freezer burns if consumed
straight from the freezer compartment.
DDo not r emove items from the freezer if y our hands
are damp/w et, as this could cause skin abrasions or
frost/freezer burns.
DBottles and cans must not be placed in the freezer as
the y can burst as the contents freeze.
DManufacturers recommend ed food storage times should

DStore pre-packed frozen foods in accordance with the
frozen foods instructions and use by date.
DWhen cleaning or taking out frozen foods or the ice
tra y do not use sharp , pointed or hard devic es, as the y
can cause dam age to the appliance.

DThis product should only be repaired or serviced by an
authorised Service Engineer and only genuine approv ed
spare parts should be used.
DUnder no circumstances should you attempt to repair
the appliance y ourself. Repairs carried out by

DDo not install the appliance close to sources of heat
such as a boiler or radiator.
Dlocate the appliance in a well ventilated room and make
sure that an y air openings of the appliance ar e not
obstructed.
DPack all foods into airtight packages befor e placing them
into the freezer .
DFood which is to be frozen (when cool) should be
placed in a fridge compartment before being transferred
to the freezer .
DTry to av oid keeping the door open for long periods or
opening the door too frequently as warm air will enter
the cabinet and cause the compr essor to switch on
unnecessarily often.
DEnsure there are no obstructions pre ve nting the door
from closing pr operly.
DAfter unpacking please dispose of the packaging with
due regar d to safety and the envi ronment.

DAv oid damaging the cooli ng unit, especially at the rear
near the heat exchanger. Check with your local Council or
Envir onmental Health Office to see if there are facilities in
y our area for recyc ling this appliance.
