IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,

9. While the unit is in use, avoid getting the glass wet to prevent breakage.
10. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
11. This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction regarding the appliance's use by a
responsible person.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS

Chocolate Cake
Yield: 12 servings
Ingredients
1 + 1/2 cup (170 g) All-purpose Flour
3 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder (dutched/dark)
2 tsp Baking powder
1 cup (220 g) Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla essence
3/4 cup (1.8 dl) Milk
3/4 cup (170 g) Melted butter
2 pcs. Eggs
Ingredients for frosting
1 stick (1/2 cup) + 3 tbsp (160 g) Softened butter
3 cups (7.2 dl) Powdered sugar or confectioner's sugar
1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
4 to 5 tbsp. Lukewarm milk
Procedure:
1. Place the grill rack on the lower position. Set the function selector to convection
+ Lower Heaters and preheat the unit for 5 minutes at 175ºC.
2. Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) cake tin.
3. Using Imarex Stand Mixer (IMX-345S), mix our, cocoa powder, baking
powder, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl.
4. Melt the butter at low heat and add to the dry ingredients. Also add milk and
eggs
5. Mix everything together until smooth using an Imarex Stand mixer at slow
speed
6. Transfer to bake tin and bake at 175ºC until a wooden pick inserted in center
comes out clean, approximately 45-50 minutes.
7. After the cake has cooled, slice the cake through the middle to make two layers
(easier if the cake has been in the fridge).
Frosting
1. Using an Imarex Mixer, cream the softened butter with powdered sugar. Add
cocoa, vanilla and 4 tbsp. lukewarm milk, and mix until smooth. Do not over-
mix. If necessary, add some more milk.
2. Use one 1/3 of the frosting between the two layers, 1/3 on top, and the rest
around the cake.
3. This cake should have room temperature when served.

CHICKEN GALANTINA
Ingredients:
4-pound Whole chicken (debone)
4pcs. Calamansi (juice)
½ cup Soy Sauce
¼ kilo Ground Lean Pork
1 can Vienna Sausage (chopped)
1 ¼ cup Sweet Ham (diced)
4pcs. Egg (2 raw, 2 boiled)
¼ cup Flour
2pcs. Carrots (1 diced, 1 cut lengthwise)
1 pack Cheese (diced)
Salt and pepper
Parsley (for garnish)
Procedure:
1. Marinate chicken in calamansi juice and soy sauce.
2. Preheat oven for 5 minutes over 175ºC with the grill rack.
3. In a bowl combine ground pork, ham, sausage, carrots, î‹Œour, cheese and raw
eggs. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Fill the chicken with the meat mixture, and insert the 2 boiled eggs.
5. Truss the chicken tightly and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour over 200 C on º
Convection + Both Heaters.
6. To serve: cut crosswise into ¼ inch thick slices, put in the platter and garnish
with parsley.
BROWNIES
Ingredients:
3/4 cup Unsalted butter
2 ounces Unsweetened chocolate, î‹‹nely chopped
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups Granulated white sugar
3 large Eggs
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
1 cup All-purpose î‹Œour
1/2 tsp Salt
PROCEDURE:
1. Place the grill rack on the lower position. Set the function selector to Convection
+ Lower Heater and preheat the unit for 5 minutes at 175ºC.
2. Line 9-inch square pan with foil, draping foil over edges. Spray foil with nonstick
spray.
3. Using Imarî‹Œex Stand Mixer (IMX-345S), mix butter with chocolate. Add the
cocoa, sugar, eggs, vanilla and î‹Œour; make sure that each is incorporated before
adding the next. Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle salt over the top of the
batter.
4. Bake brownies for about 30-40 minutes, until edges are set but the center is still
a bit soft. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out coated with a little
bit of the batter.
5. Let brownies cool at room temperature for about an hour, then refrigerate just
until î‹‹rm (about another hour). At this point, gently lift brownies from the pan
and peel back the foil. Cut brownies into squares and serve.

FUNCTION & HEAT SELECTOR
1. It is normally used for cooking the top part of foods, reheating, Upper Heater –
pizza, broiling, etc.

4. This setting is normally used to roast chicken, etc.; the Rotisserie + Convection –
fan and the rotisserie work together.
5. Rotisserie ovens are commonly used for cooking poultry and meat, Rotisserie –
but can also cook î‹‹sh.
6. Works by circulating hot air around the oven's cavity, helping food Convection –
cook faster and more evenly.
HOW TO USE
NOTE: For the rst use, preheat the convection &
rotisserie oven for at least 3 to 5 minutes until any burnt
smell and light smoke are gone. This is to prevent the
smell and smoke from mixing with the food to be cooked.
1. Place the unit on a î‹Œat surface.
2. Check that the timer is in the OFF position before
plugging the oven into a power outlet. Then plug in the
unit.
3. Set the heat selector to the desired setting.
4. Set the function switch to the desired setting.
5. For baking, use edible oil or butter to prevent food from
sticking to the pan.
6. Turn the timer to preheat the oven for 5 minutes (or as
required by the recipe) and set the temperature to
175°C.
NOTE: If you need to set the time for less than 10
minutes, set the timer for more than 10 minutes
rst, then adjust it to the desired time.
7. Place the food on the grill rack or tray and close the
door. Be careful when handling the unit, as it will be hot.
Tips: For roasting chicken or grilling meat, place the
baking tray on the lower tray holder with a small amount
of oil to reduce smoke and make cleaning easier.
8. Turn the timer switch to the desired cooking time.
NOTE: The cooking time and results may vary
depending on the amount and size of the food. It’s
advisable to experiment to find the optimal settings
and doneness.
9. A beep will sound, and the oven will stop cooking once
the set time is î‹‹nished.
CAUTION: Do not touch the unit when it is hot.
Tips: For better performance, allow the unit to cool
down for 15 minutes after every hour of use.
