IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the coee maker, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the electric outlet
(230Va.c.).
3. Do not use the two-way socket with other appliances.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced
with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest Imarex authorized service center.
5. Do not use the coee maker if the water tank is empty.
6. Do not place the coee maker near gas stove, electric burner, heated oven, or any other hot surface.
7. Keep it away from the edge of the counter to avoid accidents.
8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
9. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
10. Extreme caution must be exercised when using an appliance containing hot coee.
11. Do not allow cord to touch the hot surface of the coee maker.
12. For protection against electric shock, do not immerse the coee maker in water or any other liquid.
13. The use of any accessory not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in re, electric
shock or injury of the user.
14. Always ensure that the lid is closed and the carafe is properly placed in the unit. Do not lift the carafe
while coee is dripping. Scalding may occur if the carafe is removed during the brewing cycle. Do not
touch the hot surfaces of the coee maker.
15. Avoid placing the carafe on a wet or cold surface especially when hot.
16. Do not use the carafe if it is damage or the handle is not stable.
17. Do not use the carafe for other purposes.
18. The unit is not intended for outdoor use.
19. Do not use the unit other that its intended use.
20. After use, always switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
21. Allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
22. This coee maker is intended for coee only. Do not heat any other liquid or attempt to cook any food
in this appliance.
23. No parts are dishwasher safe.

33. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance
must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit
that is regularly switched on and o by the utility.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE
1. For initial use, wash lter basket and the carafe thoroughly.
2. Plug the unit into a convenience outlet. Always make sure that the unit is in the “OFF” position.
3. Swing out the funnel; place the lter basket holder with the lter basket and make sure that it is
properly assembled.
4. Put the ground coee into the lter basket using a measuring spoon, standard measurement is one
scoop of ground coee (7 to 8 grams) for a cup of water (8oz), but you may also adjust according
to your personal taste, and then close the funnel.
5. Fill the carafe with the desired amount of water. Open the lid of the water tank, pour water and
close the water tank cover.
Note: Do not ll water tank above the maximum level as indicated on water gauge.
6. Wipe and place the glass carafe into the keep warm plate.
7. Switch “ON” the unit.
8. During the brewing cycle, the water will automatically drip into the carafe.
Note: The appliance is designed with a pause- -serve feature, at any time during brewing cycle, and
you can temporarily remove carafe to pour and serve a cup of hot
coee. The brewing cycle will not be interrupted and no coee will drip from the unit,
simply return the carafe onto the warming plate to restart the brewing cycle, but do not remove the
glass carafe longer than 30 seconds.
9. After the brewing cycle (coee stops dripping out), wait for one minute before removing the glass
carafe to serve.
Note: The coee you get will be less than the water you have poured, as some water is absorbed
by the coee grounds.
Caution: When pouring coee, make sure that the angle of the carafe does not exceed45 degrees
in reference to the vertical position; you can pour the coee slowly until the carafe is empty; be
careful not to over tilt and spill the hot contents of the carafe. The hot contents of the carafe burn
the skin on contact.
10. After brewing, the appliance will automatically switch to the warming mode, which will continue to
keep your coee warm until you press the b suggested that warming utton to the “O” position. It is
time shall be not more than 1 hour; aroma and coee taste will decrease as long as it is exposed.
For the best coee taste, serve it just after brewing.
11. After use, switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
Note: Always turn OFF the unit if the carafe is empty.
