IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:

10. Extreme caution must be exercised when using an appliance containing hot coee.
11. Do not allow cord to touch the hot surface of the coee maker.
12. For protection against electric shock, do not immerse the coee maker in water or any other liquid.
13. The use of any accessory not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in re, electric
shock or injury of the user.
14. Always ensure that the lid is closed and the carafe is properly placed in the unit. Do not lift the carafe
while coee is dripping. Scalding may occur if the carafe is removed during the brewing cycle. Do not
touch the hot surfaces of the coee maker.
15. Avoid placing the carafe on a wet or cold surface especially when hot.
16. Do not use the carafe if it is damage or the handle is not stable.
17. Do not use the carafe for other purposes.
18. The unit is not intended for outdoor use.
19. Do not use the unit other that its intended use.
20. After use, always switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
21. Allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
22. This coee maker is intended for coee only. Do not heat any other liquid or attempt to cook any food
in this appliance.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE
1. For initial use, wash lter basket, lter holder and the cups thoroughly.
2. Plug the unit into a convenience outlet, always make it sure that the unit is in OFF position.
3. Put the lter basket into the lter holder.
4. Put adequate amount of ground coee on the lter basket.
5. Open the cover, pour the desired amount of water and close the then.
Note: Do not ll water tank above its maximum level.
6. Switch the unit ON.
7. During the brew cycle, the water will automatically drip into the cups .
NOTE:
1. You can also use your own coee mug as long as it will t on the height of the spout.
2. The coee you get will be less than the water you have poured, as some water is absorbed
by coee ground.
8. After use, switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
1. A clean coee maker is essential for making great-tasting coee. Regularly clean the coee maker as
specied in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section.
2. Always use fresh tap water in brewing coee.
3. Store unused ground coee in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of ground coee, store it in
an airtight container to maintain its freshness.
4. For the best coee taste, buy whole coee beans and nely grind them just before brewing.
5. not reuse ground coee since this will greatly reduce the coee avor. Do
6. Reheating coee is not recommended as coee is at its peak avor after brewing.
7. Clean the coee maker when over-extraction caused oiliness. Small oil droplets on the surface of
brewed, black coee are due to the extraction of oil from the ground coee.
8. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coees are used.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
How to clean the Water Tank:
1. Pour water on the water tank with one pint vinegar.
2. Put a mug under the spout.
3. Allow the vinegar inside the water tank for at least 30 minutes.
